"They parted ways, at most having chatted for two minutes." Flossie Wright continued as she looked up at him.
So, Sandy Cruz looked down and gave her an indifferent look.
Quickly, he turned around, intending to go upstairs.
But, having just taken one step, he couldn't help but stop again.
Glancing at Flossie Wright, Sandy Cruz indifferently dropped a phrase, "You only report the good news, not the bad."

After hearing this, Flossie Wright gave him a smile.
Sandy Cruz then went upstairs.
He quickly disappeared from sight.
And, just after he had left, Rowdy Brightwill leaned in, occupying the position Sandy Cruz had previously held.
Flossie Wright gave him a cursory glance.
Rowdy Brightwill wore a smile, lively and vivid, deliberately covering up the awkwardness from the approach.
Flossie Wright chose not to expose him.
