"Acquainted," Flossie Wright nodded.
Aside from Squad Leader Lin, she really couldn't think of anyone else.
"He's my friend," the cook's passion flared up at once, his smile growing even wider, almost nostalgically stating, "We, ah, came out of the same recruit company."
"Oh," Flossie responded coolly, glancing over him briefly before remarking, "Doesn't quite look it."
This cook in front of her was much larger than Squad Leader Lin and had a completely different temperament.
There really wasn't any resemblance at all.

The cook was somewhat at a loss whether to laugh or cry.
Of course, he understood what Flossie meant.
After pausing, Flossie continued to inquire, "Anything else?"
Flossie wasn't surprised to encounter an acquaintance of Squad Leader Lin here.
If she remembered correctly, Squad Leader Lin used to work as a cook here.
