The photo was not very clear, and due to the distance, it was hard to make out what that thing really looked like. But vaguely, one could see a long, angular head and a raised tail that seemed to have numerous sharp spikes.
Gu Fan guessed correctly; the thing was indeed trailing behind them. However, because the angle of the photo wasn't well chosen, no one could see it.
No, now it was more fitting to call it a monster. None of them had ever seen such a bizarre and unsettling head.
Gu Fan didn't know what kind of extreme reaction the flash might provoke from the monster, but he hoped the creature would recognize their value and not lose control, pouncing on him and biting him.
