August walked down from the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, encountering no obstacles along the way, which gradually dulled his nerves and made him overconfident. Then, as he stepped onto the suspension bridge, his carelessness led to an ambush by an enemy hidden beneath the bridge.
However, August remained calm in the face of danger. Though his body plummeted rapidly, his sleeve shot out to seize the bridge above. Yet the person he struck away was equally formidable. In midair, the foe spun forcefully to dissipate August's immense strength and landed back on the bridge. That figure stomped hard on the suspension bridge, shattering the nearby bridge deck and depriving August's sleeve of any handhold, leaving August helplessly plummeting into the molten lava below.
For the first time in many years, August felt the terror of impending death. Abandoning his gentlemanly demeanor, he shouted desperately, "Help! Someone save me…"
