"Yup, I know that." Liam murmured, "However, it's not that they are interested in Louise but what he can offer as Cartwright."
"Then what about you?"
"Well, I'm just the black sheep of family since I choose to work in my mom's company than my father's." Liam replied in nonchalant voice.
"Huh!? What?" His answer surprised more than I thought, "What that supposed to mean? Just because you work at your mom's company so you are less than your brother?" I asked, rubbing my head, not understanding a bit of what he said.
"What's wrong with working at your mom's company? It may be not same as your father's company but —"
"I know what are you trying to say. But our family isn't like this. My parents probably didn't mind, but the most of relatives though Marley would be one who would become mom's successor as a girl is more suited for this job." Liam said last line in such a sarcastic voice that it made me realize that how the relatives viewed this situation.
