"Oh, is there anything to eat?" Qin Yin blinked and asked.
She knew that Nan Sichen always planned thoroughly; he definitely had prepared something to eat.
"Mhm." As expected, he nodded, then sat up and pointed to the food on the tea table nearby.
Qin Yin glanced at it, swallowed hard, was about to get out of bed to eat when Nan Sichen grabbed her and said, "It's a bit cold. I'll have them heat it up."
"No need, it's so late, you're asking people to get up to serve us, do you really think you're some ancient emperor?" Qin Yin pushed his hand away and was about to jump out of bed when Nan Sichen pulled her into his arms, his gaze deep and piercing as he glanced outside the door.
He thought, if he asked those two sisters to heat up the food now, if they were still outside, then let them stand all night as a lesson; if they've already left, tomorrow he'd kick them out of 'Everlasting Chang'an'.
