In the midst of a peaceful moment, a low growl emanated from Julia's hungry stomach. She facepalmed, muttering, "Why do all embarrassing things happen today?" Jojo, with a playful smile, remarked, "I guess it's time to have some dinner. Maintain the fire and wait for me here; I'll be back before you know it."
As he was about to leave, she wanted to express her fear but held back not to add to his troubles. Jojo gave a glance back, but holding back, she said with a smile, "Oh, it's nothing." Seeing this, he wanted to say something, but he turned back and ventured into the forest with great speed, leaving Julia alone with the crackling fire.
After some minutes, Jojo had left. Suddenly, a roar shattered the quiet night, signaling an approaching presence that sent shivers down Julia's spine. Reacting instinctively, she grabbed a flaming log defensively. Though fear gripped her, her heart raced as she summoned her courage.
In the blink of an eye, the unknown creature emerged out of the bush. It was a leopard. Julia, maintaining distance, tried to ward it off by swinging the flaming wood, but the leopard, undeterred, roared persistently, advancing toward her. As she prepared to step back, her leg touched a log, causing her to slip and fall. Miraculously, instead of attacking, the leopard retreated like a scaredy cat.
She felt strange but boasted, "Haha, why are you afraid now?" with a smug face. She said, "That's right, be scared of me!" After a good laugh, she turned around, she saw Jojo and exclaimed, "You're back!" with an awkward expression. Jojo softened his expression and bent and asked her, "Are you okay?" He looked at her thoroughly and said, "You hurt your leg; let me see it," and he put some crushed leaves on her wound. "Oh, I bought some fish." She was surprised, "How did you catch the fishes?" Jojo simply said, "I just got lucky."
After confirming that she is not hurt anywhere else, he started to cook. After a while, the fish was roasted in the fire. He took the fishes and handed them to Julia, "Let's have some dinner." The aroma of the roasted fish wafted through the air. It was a very tasty smell which made her gulp her saliva. She said, "Thank you," and took the fish and had a bite, and she felt it was so tasty. "Is it because I was very hungry?" she thought. But she complimented JoJo, "You cook really well; you're a man of mystery." He gave a smile, "Oh, I saw a beautiful spot with lots of flowers; want to see it?"
Excitement lighting up her face, Julia exclaimed, "Let's go!".
