Some kind of white creature roaming around a black background appears and then...
Subaru was headed back home after buying the next volume of his favourite manga from the local bookstore. His curiosity got the best of him and he opened the package and opened the manga to follow up on the story. He held the paperback in one hand and hot chocolate in another.
He looked up at the sky. It was as grey as winter and as perfect a day to read his favourite action manga. But his thought was interrupted by an unusual sight. A dot could be seen making its way down from a tall glass building. The dot formed a clear object as it continued falling. A man was making his way down falling at incredible speed. Their eyes met for a fleeting moment, and in that instant, something inexplicable passed between the man and Subaru. The man's body crumpled upon impact, and the shockwaves resonated through Subaru's very core. A crowd of spectators gathered around the corpse like ants on sugar, as a pool of blood formed around the crumpled body. The man was dead. His immobile eyes stared right into Subaru's eyes. He felt disturbed. The expanding pool of blood around the glaring corpse and the muffled talks of the crowd made Subaru nauseous.
He quickly broke away from the crowd and made his way back home. He couldn't shake off the feeling he felt as those dead eyeballs fixated on him. He opened his manga to get his mind off from that incident. But it was no help at all. He couldn't get rid of the image of those round eyes with bloody veins that looked daggers into his. He was getting weak, his sight blurry. He could hardly notice that he was walking on the pavement by the road.
At a distance, two hazy red lights blinked simultaneously as he stumbled forward. He could feel his ears burning, his hands sweating and his heart beating drums on his chest. His hot chocolate felt cold to touch now. He felt an itch in his nose and touched it to check. A spat of red on his hand indicated a nosebleed. But that was not how it was for him. The cold chocolate turned red from brown. Slowly everything started turning red. His heart rate shot up. Next thing he knew he was running restlessly, panicking and screaming. A yellow light filtered through the all-red sight. A loud horn screeched into his ears and turned everything black. A rhythmic clatter of wheels on tracks filled the air, drowning out the distant echoes of the city.
He was hit by a speeding train. Another pool, another death.
Some kind of white creature roaming around a black background appears and then...
As the biting cold wind swept through the quiet streets, a man exited a vegetable shop, his breath visible in the crisp air. The sky was overcast, and he found himself wrapped in a thick coat, trying to shield himself from the harsh elements. He walked briskly, the chill forcing him to huddle deeper into his coat, while engaging in a conversation on his mobile phone about the unusual cold weather.
Approaching a railway crossing, the man paused to wait for the barriers to lift. His eyes scanned the surroundings, taking in the wintry landscape. In the distance, he noticed the approaching lights of a train, its rhythmic clattering growing louder. The cold weather seemed to intensify as the train thundered by, leaving behind a trail of frosty air.
As the barriers lifted, the man resumed his journey. However, fate had other plans. At the crossing, his eyes met those of another man, who seemed to emerge from the mist like a specter. Time seemed to freeze as their gazes locked. The man's heart skipped a beat, and an inexplicable sense of foreboding enveloped him.
In an instant, tragedy struck. The approaching train collided with the unsuspecting man at the crossing. Shocked witnesses rushed to the fallen figure, but the man, seemingly unfazed, muttered, "What a beautiful death," and continued on his way, leaving the crowd behind, bewildered and disturbed.
His path led him back home, where he sought solace in the warmth of his abode. The cold weather seemed to have seeped into his bones, and he decided to draw a hot bath to thaw the chill. The steam rose from the water as he sank into its comforting embrace, contemplating the bizarre events of the day.
Switching on the television, he intended to distract himself from the unsettling incident. However, fate had yet another twist in store. The news report unfolding on the screen narrated a chilling tale - a mysterious serial killer had resurfaced after four years of dormancy.
The News reporter trembled " He is back, the devil is back" .
why is he back? what is going on? what are those white creatures? what's with all these deaths?
