They were no longer in the compartments of the Magic Power Rail Train traveling outside Brilda.
"Where is this?"
Lanci wanted to see his surroundings, and after the flash of light, he suddenly realized they were in the Demon King Castle Necaris from tens of thousands of years ago.
Today should be a good day; just looking out the window tells him so.
The scenery of Necaris remains that antique and traditional, under the clear sky, a vibrant and clear blue color is visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Demon King's Castle, in spring, the sunlight warms his body.
What draws his attention is not the familiar sights of the throne hall, nor the unprecedentedly lively noise behind him.
But rather a timeline he had never seen before.
From the markings on the clock of the Demon King Palace, it should be a time node even later than the fourth Shadow World's time.
