Chapter 100 - Chapter 97: Going Back To Hotel Transylvania...

Nurarihyon house...

After Leo extended the invitation, the entire Nurarihyon household was thrown into a whirlwind of energy and activity.

Rikuo darted off to pack his things,

While Kurotabo and Aotabou argued over whether to bring extra weapons "just in case."

The younger yokai practically bounced off the walls, shrieking with joy about a "real other world adventure."

Even the more reserved ones like Kubinashi couldn't hide their excitement.

Nurarihyon, however, stood silently for a moment outside his study, watching his clan's joyful chaos.

"____"

A soft smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"This boy… he really is something."

Continental Hotel...

Meanwhile, at the Continental Hotel, things were far more composed—

But just as fascinating.

Nene, the ever-composed and graceful front-desk manager, walked with Eileen Prince and Bellatrix Lestrange down the marble corridor of the upper floors.

The walls were lined with ornate oil paintings, ancient statues, and luxury portraits, each exuding an aura that was unmistakably… strange.

"This place,"

Bellatrix muttered, glancing at a grotesque statue of a serpent eating its own tail,

"feels like it knows too much."

Nene gave a serene smile, her heels clicking softly against the polished floor.

"It does. Every piece here tells a story—a forgotten war, a sealed entity, a powerful soul who once stayed here. Even the chandeliers above us were crafted from the bones of a sky leviathan… or so the artist claims."

Eileen paused before a haunting painting that seemed to move when you weren't looking.

They continued walking past more scenes captured in enchanted frames:

One showed Leo taming a rampaging dragon with nothing but a calm gaze.

Another revealed a darker painting—Leo in shadow form, with glowing runes across his body, facing an ancient godlike entity in a shattered realm.

A golden-framed piece depicted a peaceful moment—Leo standing between Wakana and Mavis, both smiling, as petals fell around them like a memory.

It was of a masked woman standing on a cliff, arms outstretched to a swarm of spirits swirling around her.

"And this one?"

She asked.

Nene tilted her head.

"That… is the Lady of the Final Choir. She sang the souls of the dead to sleep. Her voice, it is said, still echoes in the deepest rooms below…"

Eileen felt a chill run down her spine.

Bellatrix raised a brow.

Nene chuckled lightly.

Chuckle~

"If Lord Morningstar hears you, he will be embarrassed."

Because truthfully…

If Leo were here, he'd probably cover his face in embarrassment, muttering something along the lines of:

"System… why are you like this…"

Always overly extra, overly grand, overly mysterious.

But perhaps… that was part of the charm.

As Nene guided Bellatrix and Eileen through the echoing halls of the Continental Hotel,

She paused before a massive mural etched in gold and obsidian.

It depicted Leo Morningstar locked in fierce battle with another man—Nue.

"This,"

Nene began solemnly,

"It was the battle that shook the skies for three days."

Both witches turned, eyebrows rising as Nene continued.

"Lord Morningstar fought Nue when he tried to use his own mother, Hagoromo Gitsune, to achieve his goal. The sky didn't clear for seventy-two hours. The Earth cracked. Stars dimmed. When it ended, the Yokai clans bowed to him… not out of fear, but reverence."

"____"

Bellatrix blinked, glancing at the scorched earth painted beneath Leo's feet.

"Dramatic much?"

Eileen just smiled faintly.

"Fitting… for Leo."

Meanwhile, Leo, now accompanied by Rikuo, Nurarihyon, and the others, arrived back at the Continental Hotel.

Shin stood at the entrance, bowing slightly before his master.

"Welcome back, my lord."

Leo smiled.

"Shin, come with us. We're heading to another world."

The usually unshakable Shin blinked.

"____"

"...Another world?"

"Yeah. Long story. But you're invited."

Shin took only a moment to gather himself before nodding respectfully.

"Understood."

Turning to the ornate wall near the reception hall, Leo asked the System how to open the gateway to Hotel Transylvania.

A familiar voice echoed in his mind:

[System: Simply focus on the world and location. Picture it. Then open a door.]

Leo gave a subtle nod and extended his hand toward the wall.

Nod~

As his thoughts focused, the frame of a doorway shimmered into existence, glowing faintly with golden light.

Just then, Leo turned to Shin.

"Call Nene. Bring Bellatrix and Eileen. It's time."

Suddenly, a whoosh echoed from above, and a flurry of black feathers descended.

Karasu-Tengu's children landed with fluid grace—

Four young tengu warriors, each dressed in traditional garb, their feathered wings neatly folded.

"Leo-sama,"

They said in unison, bowing low.

Trailing behind them was Sasami, her arms crossed and expression unusually pouty.

Her eyes flicked to Leo before she looked away.

"____"

Leo raised an eyebrow.

"Sasami… something bothering you?"

Sasami huffed, but quickly shook her head.

"Nothing at all."

But Leo wasn't fooled.

Before he could push further, Kuroumaru, one of her older brothers, leaned over and whispered discreetly into Leo's ear.

Leo's eyes widened slightly, then softened.

Letting out a quiet chuckle, he turned back to Sasami and said warmly:

Chuckle~

"You wanted to come with us last time, didn't you?"

Sasami blinked in surprise but quickly masked it with a shrug.

"Maybe."

Leo stepped closer and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Then come with us now. I'll make sure you're not left behind again."

A visible spark lit up in Sasami's eyes.

She gasped, clearly elated—

But just as quickly, he tried to hide it with an exaggerated

"Hmph."

Behind her, her brothers exchanged awkward smiles, scratching their heads as they chuckled.

Chuckled~

Leo smirked knowingly.

Smirk~

Soon, Nene returned, leading Bellatrix and Eileen toward the golden portal.

The moment they spotted Leo, the teasing began.

Bellatrix smirked, crossing her arms.

Smirk~

"Off to another world without telling your charming wives again, hmm?"

Eileen arched an eyebrow, a playful glint in her eyes.

"Should we be keeping a travel log for all your secret escapes, Leo?"

Leo chuckled, shaking his head helplessly.

Chuckle~

"You two never miss a chance, do you?"

"Now,"

He continued, gesturing toward the side hallway,

"We're heading to Mavis's world. Time to bring her people into the fold."

He walked over to a nearby door—

Plain and unassuming.

Resting his palm on it, Leo closed his eyes, focusing on Mavis's world, its energies, its essence.

The door creaked, then shimmered, shifting into an arched golden portal, swirling with soft light and faint magical hums.

Without hesitation, Leo stepped forward into the portal, his coat fluttering behind him like a cloak of shadows and starlight.

Behind him, Bellatrix, Eileen, Sasami, Shin, and others stepped in.

The portal pulsed gently—

And with a soft whoosh, they vanished into the world beyond.

Whoosh~

Hotel Transylvania World...

As they all stepped out of the golden portal, a cool mist brushed past their faces.

In front of them stood a massive, gothic castle nestled in the heart of the Erebus Dark Forest—

Its towering spires curled like dragon claws into the cloudy sky.

Flickering lanterns lined the stone path, casting eerie yet welcoming glows.

The walls were draped in dark ivy, and gargoyle statues perched along the rooftops, their eyes glowing faintly.

The giant sign above the ornate gates read:

Hotel Transylvania

The yokai stared in awe.

"____"

"____"

"____"

Rikuo's mouth fell open slightly.

"This looks like... a Halloween-themed castle."

Leo chuckled as he stepped forward.

Chuckle~

"That's because it is. Except this one's real—and far more alive than you'd expect."

Just then, Tsurara stepped beside Rikuo, holding out his forgotten haori.

"You forgot this, Rikuo-sama."

She said with a soft smile.

Rikuo blinked, flustered.

"Ah—thank you, Tsurara."

He quickly put it on while she continued to smile kindly, her eyes watching him with quiet fondness.

Behind them, Bellatrix looked up at the castle, amused.

"This place screams drama. I like it."

Eileen arched an eyebrow.

"You're sure this isn't a haunted theatre?"

Shin stood respectfully behind Leo, eyes scanning the towering hotel with curiosity.

Sasami looked around in excitement, clearly impressed, though she tried to mask it behind a calm face.

"Let's go,"

Leo said, walking confidently toward the grand gates of the hotel.

"Darc... will definitely sense us soon."

The heavy gates creaked open on their own—

Welcoming them into the world of monsters, magic, and memories.

As the massive doors of Hotel Transylvania creaked open, everyone braced themselves to meet new faces—

Strange beings from a different world.

Excitement shimmered in the air.

Instead, they were greeted by pure chaos.

Monsters of all shapes and sizes were rushing in all directions.

A werewolf juggled a stack of towels while three mummies argued with a sentient door about room keys.

A gelatinous blob was stuck halfway through a narrow hallway, apologising profusely as a group of witches tried to squeeze past.

The unmistakable sounds of panic, hissing steam, clattering trays, and a disembodied voice shouting.

"WHO STOLE MY EYE?!"

Echoed through the grand lobby.

Meanwhile, in one corner…

Dracula, dressed in his classic black and red cape, was talking to a zombie plumber.

"So you're telling me… room 534 has water coming out of the floor now?"

The plumber groaned unintelligibly and shrugged.

Shrug~

"____"

Right next to them, Jonathan—

Still, the overly curious human—

Was poking a bright red button on the wall that read:

"If you are a good boy, press this button!"

Drac turned slowly.

"No… Jonny, please don't—"

Click.

Instantly, a trap sprang to life.

From the walls shot out axes and arrows, slicing through the air toward Jonathan.

"WAAAAAHH!"

ZOOOOM!!!

At the last second, Dracula zoomed forward, transforming into a blur of smoke, and yanked Jonathan out of the way.

The arrows thunked harmlessly into the wall.

Dracula sighed, rubbing his temples.

Sigh~

"What am I going to do with you? You married my second daughter and gave me stress wrinkles!"

Jonathan grinned sheepishly.

Grin~

"But the button said good boy—how could I not?"

Before Dracula could continue his scolding, his eyes caught sight of someone unexpected.

"____"

His face lit up.

"LEOOOOOO!"

With blinding speed,

Dracula zipped across the room and appeared in front of Leo like a flash of darkness, sweeping him into an excited hug.

"Finally! My terrifying, glorious son-in-law has returned!"

Leo awkwardly patted his back, only for Lethifold, sensing Leo's discomfort,

To silently unfurl itself from his shoulder and coil around Dracula, gently pulling him back.

Drac blinked as he looked at the sentient cloak with sparkling eyes.

"Is this your pet? It's beautiful! Can it wrap around me, too?"

Meanwhile, behind Leo, Bellatrix and Eileen exchanged amused glances.

Rikuo whispered to Tsurara,

"Are we… sure this isn't an asylum disguised as a castle?"

Tsurara giggled,

Giggle~

"It feels like home, doesn't it?"

As chaos slowly settled, Dracula composed himself and smiled proudly at the group of monsters behind Leo.

"I see you've brought new guests?"

Leo gave a small smirk.

Smirk~

"Let's just say the family's growing larger… and stranger."

All the commotion caught the attention of every monster in the hotel.

"____"

"____"

"____"

One by one,

They paused what they were doing and turned toward the lobby, their eyes widening as they recognised the tall, calm figure at the centre of the room.

"IT'S HIM!"

"THE PROGENITOR!"

"LORD MORNINGSTAR!"

A wave of excitement surged through the lobby like an electric storm.

Monsters of all kinds—

Ghouls, ogres, banshees, cyclopes, even the invisible man (his sunglasses floating excitedly in mid-air)—

All scrambled toward Leo, bowing, cheering, and greeting him with reverence and admiration.

From behind the crowd, Dracula's old friends appeared, shouldering their way through.

Wayne the werewolf arrived first, with two babies hanging off each arm and another biting his ear.

"____"

His face was a mix of deadpan exhaustion and silent pleading.

"Leo,"

Wayne sighed,

Sigh~

"Kill me."

Leo burst out laughing.

Haha~

"What's the matter, Wayne? Lost the will to howl?"

"Try surviving on two hours of sleep with thirty-six kids that can climb walls and smell fear."

Leo smirked.

Smirk~

"Have you tried a chew toy?"

Wayne blinked.

"...I am the chew toy."

The group laughed, including Frank (Frankenstein), Murray (the mummy), and Griffin (the invisible man), each with their wives by their sides.

They all gave Leo hearty greetings and warm hugs.

"Still rocking that mysterious immortal vibe, Leo?"

Griffin's voice echoed with a wink.

Wink~

"How do you keep your hair that majestic?"

Leo deadpanned,

"Dark secrets and demon contracts. Want one?"

Murray cackled.

"I knew it!"

Just then, a soft voice chimed through the crowd.

"Leo!"

He turned and saw Martha, Dracula's wife, and Darcy, his second daughter, approaching.

Martha gave Leo a warm motherly hug.

"You've gotten even more handsome. Still turning heads across weirdos?"

Leo chuckled.

Chuckle~

"Only the dangerous ones."

But as his eyes landed on Darcy, he blinked in surprise.

"____"

Her hand was gently resting on her round, pregnant belly, a soft glow in her eyes as she walked over beside Jonathan.

"You're… expecting?"

Darcy smiled shyly.

"Seven months now."

Jonathan grinned widely.

Grin~

"Yup! We're having a boy. Or a girl. Or a Vampire. I'm not sure how monster biology works yet."

Leo raised an eyebrow but smiled genuinely.

"Congratulations, you two."

He placed a hand gently on Darcy's shoulder.

"That child's going to be special. Protected. Always."

Darcy nodded, clearly touched, while Martha beamed beside her.

Nod~

Jonathan, ever the joker, added,

"So… if the baby ends up with laser eyes or shadow wings, do I send them to you for training or straight to summer camp?"

Leo gave him a serious look.

"…Both."

Hahaha~

Hahaha~

And both of them laughed.

After sharing a warm moment with Darcy and congratulating Jonathan once again, Leo cleared his throat and turned to the crowd that had gathered in the lobby.

Cough~ Cough~

"I'd like to introduce some very important guests,"

He said, raising his voice slightly so it carried across the room.

"They've travelled here with me from another world—"

Dracula's jaw dropped before Leo could even finish.

"____"

"ANOTHER WORLD?!"

Drac's voice echoed through the hall like a thunderclap.

He clutched his chest and stumbled backwards, his cape dramatically fluttering as if caught in a stage breeze.

"You're world-hopping now?! And you didn't tell me?!"

Murray grabbed a chair and waved it over.

"Somebody get the Count a coffin, he's going to faint from joy!"

Leo rubbed his temples.

"Yes, Drac. I've been travelling between worlds. And that's why I'm here—I've come to check on things… and see someone."

Wayne, still covered in pups, muttered,

"You mean you didn't come to rescue me?"

Leo patted his shoulder.

"You're past saving, Wayne."

Amid the chuckles, Dracula composed himself and asked eagerly,

"So who did you want to meet?"

Leo narrowed his eyes.

"Vlad."

Instantly, Dracula's animated excitement died down.

"Oh. Him."

The room grew quiet.

"____"

Even the crawling babies froze.

Drac cleared his throat and gave a sheepish smile.

Cough~

"He's… uh… probably at the church."

At that, Leo's expression visibly darkened.

"____"

A subtle pressure filled the air, enough that even the monsters nearby took a step back.

Elieen and Bellatrix noticed immediately, exchanging glances.

"Why does he suddenly look like he wants to punch God?"

Bella whispered.

"I was going to ask if this Vlad person is cursed,"

Elieen replied under her breath.

Even Rikuo, who had been half-distracted by the gothic decor, perked up with curiosity.

"Wait, monsters go to church? Isn't that… weird?"

Martha chuckled softly and gave him a knowing look.

Chuckle~

"You'll see, darling. Oh, you'll see."

Sasami whispered to her brother,

"Do you think this Vlad is a priest?"

Kuroumaru grimaced. "

That would explain the ominous mood swing."
