Shardu's footsteps are silent, but his speed is top-notch that everyone who is on his back is holding tightly on his fur just to avoid getting carried by the wind current passing them as Shardu picks up speed. Elaina has already experienced Shardu's speed back when she needed to stop the Eternal Winter from happening, and as a result of Shardu's speed, Elaina has been able to tour all over Darcero Kingdom in a few hours and save Darcero Kingdom and perhaps even the whole world from having an Eternal Winter. Compared to the speed Shardu was doing before and now, the run he did back then was much faster than today; that doesn't mean it was slow in comparison, just that Shardu is taking the speed a bit moderately to take directions from Gobruk and avoid missing the direction they are going.
