With a single step forward, Overlord Zero roared, emitting high-frequency sound waves. Waves of shock energy, imbued with the power of the two World Runes, surged forth, slicing through the wings of Bel'Veth, which had been frozen into a temporal statue.
However, Bel'Veth did not rely on the flapping of its wings for flight but instead floated on void energy, desperately attempting to flee the battlefield.
At the heart of the Void Nest, Aatrox and Rhaast keenly sensed the overwhelming World Power emanating from Overlord Zero. They dared not recklessly approach the radius encompassing Li Lin, Bel'Veth, and the area spanning several kilometers.
Yet, upon witnessing the monstrous being forced into retreat under Li Lin's assault, even trying to escape, the two celestial warriors were elated. Shifting tactics, they moved to intercept the Void Empress from two angles, positioning themselves in a triangular formation with Li Lin.
Bel'Veth, striving to save itself, began retracting the Purple Void Sea into its body, concentrating all its power internally.
Thousands of meters above, the void barriers reinforced by energy disintegrated, collapsing like massive "boulders" into the dark, purple sea below.
Even so, Bel'Veth could not evade Overlord Zero, which was now wielding the power of the World Runes.
The "Fleet Footwork" rune provided unparalleled speed to the mecha, while Li Lin utilized the "Starting Stopwatch" to cast an advanced "Time Gears" spell, accelerating himself tenfold.
Under the infinite power gathered by the "Conqueror," Overlord Zero delivered a devastating punch to what could barely be called Bel'Veth's face. The exoskeleton dented inwards by dozens of meters, while rows of massive, jagged teeth, each the size of a grown man, shattered and were obliterated by the World Runes' energy.
Without pause, Zero's hands transformed into blurs, moving faster than even Ascended beings could perceive, as kinetic battle axes shredded Bel'Veth's shrieking form. The devastating kinetic force, enhanced by Astral Magic, peeled away layers of the Void Empress's exoskeleton with relentless precision.
As the time-stasis magic around them dissipated, Aatrox and Rhaast surged forward. Meanwhile, Varus, stationed over twenty kilometers away, nocked his bow and released a binding, corrupted vine, followed by a barrage of cursed arrows imbued with hexes crafted alongside Valeeva.
Amid flashes of purple, massive swords and scythes glinted with sharp edges. Bel'Veth extended void tendrils in an attempt to repel her attackers, but they were quickly subdued by Azir's golden sands and Nasus' withering spells.
The Dragon Overlord and other ranged mecha units unleashed waves of precision-guided energy missiles. Caitlyn, Kassadin, and Kai'Sa returned to the fray, their energy cannons striking Bel'Veth's body before she could fully retract her form.
Her defenses were in shambles. The once-mighty Void Empress now radiated a sickly yellow-green glow beneath her lavender exoskeleton, her strength rapidly deteriorating.
The winged sisters, once recovering, rejoined the fight alongside Atreus. Kayle and Morgana summoned astral purges and destructive flames to evaporate the lavender sea, further weakening the Empress's abilities.
Atreus ascended into the sky, channeling the power to pierce stars into his spear before hurling it with unmatched force at Bel'Veth.
"AAAAAAH!"
Bel'Veth's agonized scream rippled through the battlefield, manifesting as visible shockwaves. Atreus's strike pierced deep into her core, pushing her to the brink of collapse.
In her rage, Bel'Veth detonated violet energy, but Zoe countered with Twilight Magic, twisting the explosion into a cascade of luminous butterflies and birds that dissolved into the ether.
Aatrox and Rhaast broke free from the void tendrils entangling them, charging toward the Empress. Aatrox infused his greatsword with annihilation energy, piercing her ray-like form, while Rhaast followed with his scythe, severing her remaining tendrils and pinning her distorted body. Together, they pulled in opposite directions to tear her apart.
Varus's corrupted vines coiled around her, attempting to immobilize her completely.
Despite their combined efforts, Bel'Veth's strength remained formidable.
Amid cracking sounds, the vines snapped, forcing the celestial warriors into a stalemate.
Now, Bel'Veth's body, a twisted hybrid of ray and void, was on the verge of splitting. Beneath layers of exoskeleton and sinewy fibers, her crystalline void core was exposed.
Her final dozen vertical void eyes glinted with an emotion resembling fear—a foreign concept simulated from the creatures she had consumed.
"You can't do this!"
A chorus of voices emanated from her core, imbued with bewitching magic, as they sought to sway Li Lin, who was preparing Overlord Zero's kinetic axe for a decisive strike.
"Only I know the Watchers' weaknesses! If you kill me, Runeterra will face its doom!"
"Don't hesitate, Li Lin!" Aatrox bellowed.
Rhaast, gritting his teeth and straining every muscle, added, "We… can't hold on much longer!"
"Weaknesses?"
Li Lin smirked within the cockpit. Without hesitation, Overlord Zero's axe descended, cleaving into the crystal-like core of Bel'Veth.
The resulting explosion boiled the purple sea, dissolving Bel'Veth's massive form into nothingness.
