Chapter 307 - Chapter 307: The Fierce Hashirama

At this moment, Obito's side had finally gained the upper hand.

And it was all thanks to Nagato.

Not only had he unleashed several devastating jutsu, wiping out a large number of enemy clones, but he had also single-handedly held off multiple Kage-level opponents.

That was their real advantage.

If Nagato were taken out now and Obito had to fight alone…

He'd probably get the beating of his life.

Not even the Rinnegan would save him.

"Hehe," Orochimaru chuckled. "No need to get upset. Just a joke. Go ahead—I'll keep Nagato, and the others occupied, make sure their top fighters stay busy, and give you a clear shot."

Obito ignored the sarcasm. He had one goal—Capture the Tailed Beasts.

Become the Jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails.

Activate the Infinite Tsukuyomi and create a world where everyone could live in peace.

As long as he could capture all the Tailed Beasts and become the Ten-Tails' host, everything he had endured would be worth it.

Kakashi…

Rin…

We'll be together soon… in a world without regrets.

Obito turned.

Six figures emerged before him.

Roshi, the Four-Tails Jinchūriki.

Han, the Five-Tails Jinchūriki.

Utakata, the Six-Tails Jinchūriki.

But the last three were even more shocking.

Kinkaku and Ginkaku.

The last member of the six was a legend in his own right.

The moment these six appeared on the battlefield, Fūnan's face twisted in disbelief.

"Damn, Obito! You really went all out digging up these guys! How many graves did you rob?!"

But the last one—

"Oh, come on! You couldn't get the real deal, so you grabbed a stand-in?!"

Blue B.

The former Eight-Tails Jinchūriki.

Every one of Obito's six clones was a Jinchūriki.

Fūnan frowned.

Nagato was still locked in battle, and now Obito was making his move.

Fūnan's fingers twitched slightly.

He was ready to step in.

As for his deal with Uchiha Madara… well, if Madara showed up, they'd just have to fight it out.

Better that than watching his own people get wiped out.

"Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

Yako shouted as countless chains shot from her body, wrapping toward Nagato.

"Shinra Tensei!"

Nagato raised a hand, unleashing a massive repulsive force that sent every attack flying.

"Now!"

The others saw their chance and charged in.

Shinra Tensei was powerful, but it had a cooldown period.

Two Susanoo surged forward, weapons drawn, aiming for a devastating strike on Nagato.

The sealing squad was already in position.

A massive summoning beast erupted from the ground, shielding Nagato from the attack.

"Not this again!"

Uchiha Tetsuhi growled in frustration.

"Don't rush."

Itachi's eyes gleamed. "Their weakness is already clear."

"I know." Tetsuhi's face was filled with urgency.

Nagato was under Orochimaru's control.

Orochimaru knew the Rinnegan was immensely powerful, but he had no idea how to wield it properly.

He kept using the same few techniques over and over.

The shinobi attacking Nagato were all battle-hardened veterans. After just a few exchanges, they quickly noticed the pattern.

For a shinobi, a technique might work the first time, but by the second, a countermeasure would already be in place.

Nagato's power was undeniable, but his opponents were far from weak.

Orochimaru watched the battlefield, his snake-like eyes flashing with frustration.

He truly didn't understand the full extent of Nagato's abilities.

Despite being a master of gathering intelligence and having collected some data on the Rinnegan, Nagato wasn't foolish enough to let him in on everything.

That was precisely why Orochimaru was happy to let Obito step in.

Nagato alone wasn't enough.

Even Chibaku Tensei had been destroyed multiple times.

If it weren't for his undead body and infinite chakra, he would've been done long ago.

[Swoosh!]

At that moment, Obito arrived on the battlefield with six figures in tow, his gaze cold as he surveyed the enemy.

"You all seem to be having fun," he said icily. "Good. Let's see if you still enjoy it after this!"

With that, the six figures behind him stormed forward.

At the same time, several mechanisms on Nagato's body clicked open, revealing an array of deadly projectiles.

[Boom! Boom! Boom!]

A devastating barrage was unleashed.

...

[Bang!]

"Madara, stop this! There's no point in continuing the fight!"

Senju Hashirama's voice was steady as ever.

Unfortunately, he wasn't Naruto.

"Shut up, Hashirama!" Uchiha Madara snapped, his patience wearing thin. "Enough with your words! Let your strength do the talking!"

"Sigh… Well, I guess I have no choice." Hashirama pressed his hands together. "Madara, brace yourself!"

A massive wooden dragon surged forward, lunging at Susanoo.

Madara's Susanoo unsheathed its sword, slicing the wooden dragon's head clean off.

The moment one was cut down, four more appeared, attacking from all directions.

"Hmph!" Madara scoffed, his blade flashing once more.

All four dragon heads were severed in an instant.

But before he could react, two more wooden dragons sprouted beneath Susanoo, sinking their fangs into its legs and forcefully toppling it to the ground..

"Madara, take this!" Hashirama's voice rang out as two more wooden dragons lunged at the fallen Susanoo.

"Hashirama, don't underestimate me!"

Madara roared as Susanoo began to evolve.

An overwhelming aura erupted.

A suffocating chill filled the battlefield.

The sheer power of his eyes sent shivers down the spines of those watching.

The colossal, fully-formed Susanoo now stood in its complete glory—a towering warrior, the embodiment of destruction.

Hashirama stood atop his wooden dragon, frowning as he observed Madara.

So, it has come to this.

"Wood Release: Wood Human Technique!"

[Crack! Crack! Crack!]

The ground shook as the wood rapidly grew, forming a humanoid shape while the wooden dragon served as a living scarf.

A massive, fearsome wooden humanoid emerged in front of Susanoo, slightly shorter but just as imposing.

"Yes! That's it, Hashirama!" Madara laughed wildly, swinging his enormous blade down at Hashirama's wooden giant.

[Smack!]

The wooden giant clasped its hands together.

A blade caught bare-handed!

However, the immense force of Madara's strike crashed into the ground beneath them, sending shockwaves rippling outward.

Countless trees were uprooted.

The earth split apart in clean, jagged lines behind the wooden giant.

"Ha!" Madara let out a battle cry as Susanoo lifted its foot and delivered a devastating kick.

Even the towering wooden giant couldn't withstand the impact—it was sent flying, crashing heavily into the ground.

Hashirama watched Madara intently, his expression serious.

At this moment, Uchiha Madara was even stronger than he had been in their last battle.

Or rather, last time, he hadn't even been fighting at full power.

Even with Uchiha Fūnan assisting Hashirama, Madara had still been holding back.

The Wooden Giant slowly rose to its feet, its fierce gaze locking onto Madara.

"Hashirama, you and I are the real protagonists of this world. Even Uchiha Fūnan is a step behind."

"Madara, we're already dead!"

"So what? Does being dead change who we are?" Madara shot back. "Nothing's different. Even in death, this world still revolves around us!"

"Sigh… You haven't changed at all," Hashirama muttered with a weary sigh.

"Haha! And like you have?" Madara laughed. "Always sighing, always preaching about peace—yet when it comes down to it, you fight harder than anyone!"

Damn it!

The more he thought about it, the more it pissed him off.

He had killed just as many people as I had—so why was I the villain, while Hashirama was the hero?

"If I had a choice, I wouldn't fight," Hashirama said, pressing his hands together. "Madara, this battle needs to end. A meaningless war will only bring unnecessary suffering."

"Oh yeah?" Madara formed a hand seal. "Hashirama, your Flower Tree World won't work on me!"

"I know that. That's why I'm using something else."

A sharp glint flashed in Hashirama's eyes as he pushed his power to the absolute limit.

"HAH!"

He let out a roar.

"True Several Thousand Hands!"

[Boom!]

A colossal wooden Buddha, hundreds of meters tall, emerged.

"Madara!"

Hashirama's voice boomed as the massive Buddha began to move, its once-serene expression twisting into a fierce glare.

"Haha! Now that's more like it!" Madara laughed, the Susanoo gripping his sword tightly as he charged forward.

"HAH!" Hashirama roared, and countless enormous fists rained down on Madara.

One punch, two punches—Madara ignored them.

Slice!

Ten punches, twenty punches—Madara endured.

His entire body was clad in armor.

But what about a hundred? A thousand?

Punch after punch, wave after wave!

By the time Hashirama's assault ended, Madara's Full-Body Susanoo had been completely obliterated.

Armor, flesh, bones—everything had been torn apart by the relentless barrage of True Several Thousand Hands.

Half-dead, Madara lay sprawled on the ground, looking like he had just been jumped by a gang of thugs—helpless and utterly wrecked.

"Madara, how's that working out for you?" Hashirama stood over him, arms crossed. "I told you before—violence isn't always the answer."

"Huh?" Madara blinked, dazed. "That doesn't sound like something you'd say, who taught you?"

"Do I need someone to teach me?" Hashirama huffed. "Of course it was me... Well, Uchiha Funan told me when I hadn't recovered enough strength yet. Since I couldn't beat him, he pinned me to the ground and beat me up!"

Madara burst out laughing, then gave Hashirama a serious look. "But tell me something… are you underestimating me?"

"What?" Hashirama frowned.

"Hahaha!" Madara laughed wildly. "I have the Rinnegan now, you know. If you still see me as the man I used to be, you're in for a nasty surprise."

Hashirama was about to respond when—His expression suddenly changed.

He sensed something.

Jerking his head up, he saw it.

A massive meteor, plummeting from the sky at an incredible speed.

"This… this is what you're doing?"

"What do you think?"

"Damn it, have you lost your mind?!" Hashirama shouted furiously. "Do you have any idea how many people are down there?!"

"And what does that have to do with me?" Madara's expression remained indifferent. "They're just ants. If they die, so what?"

"You bastard!" Hashirama's face twisted in anger. He looked at the meteorite falling from the sky and clasped his hands.

"Top Transformed Buddha!"

This time, Hashirama unleashed his full power. The wooden Buddha towered over a thousand meters tall.

Under Hashirama's control, the giant Buddha slowly lifted its head to face the incoming meteor.

Far away, Fūnan also saw the meteor—and the massive wooden Buddha squaring up against it. A weird thought crossed his mind.

If the Buddha had a consciousness, what would it be thinking right now?

What kind of expression would it have?

The Buddha: "You expect me to handle this? With my fists?"

"AAAAH!!!"

Hashirama roared, pouring every ounce of his chakra into the Buddha.

"True Several Thousand Hands!"

[Rumble!]

Countless fists surged forward, hammering the massive meteor as it hurtled toward the earth.

Sometimes, you just have to admit—Senju Hashirama was an absolute beast.

His solution to every problem? Charge straight at it!

If one punch wasn't enough—Then two punches!

In that moment, a blur of fists smashed into the meteor, slowing its descent.

Blow after blow, the sheer force of his strikes stopped the meteor midair.

Finally, the massive rock crashed into the ground, but the impact was no longer catastrophic.

"Whew…"

Hashirama let out a long breath.

If that meteor had crashed at full force, this entire region would have been wiped out.

The Allied Shinobi Forces—primarily Konoha—weren't far from here.

Hashirama couldn't bear to see them suffer such a loss.
