The marketplace is bustling with people as May and I make our way through the stalls. May is holding my hand tightly, her eyes darting around excitedly. She's been very focused on getting gifts for everyone, and I'm quite proud of her.
We're on a mission to find a gift for Lucas. I've never bought a gift for him in this lifetime, but it's certainly a worthy cause.
"What kind of gift do you think Lucas will like?"
May hums thoughtfully. "Mmmm...." She purses her lips. "He. Likes. Weird. Stuff."
I chuckle. "That's true. He does have...eccentric tastes."
"Because he is! Weird!" She breaks out into giggles. "Sooo weird!"
I smile and pat her head. "He is. But what is a good gift for a weird guy?"
She hums. "Ummm. I dunno." She frowns. "I dunno. But. But. I wanna give him a gift. That. Is. Super. Cool. Like him."
"Super cool, huh?" I arch an eyebrow. "Super cool and so weird?"
"YEAH!" She bobs her head vigorously. "And it. Has to. Be. Fun! Because. Lucas is. Fun!"
