Chapter 3 - Mysterious women

-------------------------------------

Somewhere, a woman with purple hair stood, gazing into the void with her starry purple eyes, her black veil covering the lower half of her face. Her back was to a white-haired woman whose green veil covered her lower face.

"Sister, is it true?" the purple-haired woman asked.

"Yes," the white-haired woman replied. "That bastard still refuses to fight, yet again."

"Mmmh."

"This time, it's not good."

"Is Loita's reincarnation by his side?"

"Yes, but he remains as heartless as ever."

"What about the other two?"

"Those idiots destroyed their reincarnated bodies. Their souls were almost completely devoured, but luckily, that bastard saved their soul fragments. However, he didn't reform or nurture them. How hateful!"

"But you know what? That bastard wants to nurture a genius and hand over our sisters to him. I hate this."

"Sister, I think this might be for the best," the white-haired woman said, though her eyes shone with a different intent.

Snort

"Look who's talking... I know you're planning to have that bastard for yourself. Only a ghost would believe you."

"Okay, okay."

"Where are the other two?"

"I think they've given up."

"And you believe that?" The purple-haired woman raised an eyebrow.

"No, only idiots would believe that," the white-haired woman retorted.

"By the way, will there ever be a time when all eight flowers fight together again?" the white-haired woman asked dreamily.

The purple-haired woman glanced at her and then her eyes flashed with a purple light.

"There will be seven additional sisters, and fifteen of us will move from this forbidden chaos zone to the true chaotic cosmic starry sky."

"Will he change?"

"No, but that milk cow will seal all his memories for a while, letting them start afresh. But—"

"But what?"

"See for yourself." She touched her forehead and shared some memories.

"What? When did she become so vicious? We better be careful."

"That milk cow knows how to deal with that bastard. I support her, but why add seven others into the mix?"

"Haven't you seen it?"

"Seen what?"

The white-haired woman looked at her as if she were an idiot. Seeing this, the purple-haired woman's face flushed with anger.

"Why can't you just say it? Don't give me that look."

"You see, he wants to give us away. Why not add more to the mix?"

"Hahaha... The milk cow is very angry. But why don't we look for someone who truly wants us?"

The white-haired woman turned around with a serious expression, and the purple-haired woman also looked into the starry void.

"So he can't ever die in peace?" the purple-haired woman asked.

"Who knows? After all, he is their son."

"How many chaos circles has it been?"

"Millions."

"His fate—"

She was interrupted.

"Don't talk about it."

The white-haired woman sighed and looked into the starry void.

"Husband, I'm waiting for you. Come soon."

The purple-haired woman shook her head, also looking into the starry void.

"Why did I fall in love with that bastard? But I'm waiting for you."

A red-haired woman stood on a cliff, looking at the starry sky. She sighed and then disappeared.

"Darling, you're daring, but I feel sorry for you. If that big-breasted woman didn't act, I would have acted too. How can I be someone else's wife?"

A charming voice echoed from the void after the red-haired woman left.

A blue-haired woman in a royal golden-purple dress, with waist-length hair and a figure that could drive anyone insane, stood looking at the endless starry void. Her otherworldly beauty and seductive charm made her incredibly dangerous. Despite this, she couldn't seduce her fiancé, who fled from her as if escaping a disaster.

"Darling, before making such a dangerous plan, you should have asked your wife if it was okay."

"I will make you regret it. How can you plan to leave without telling us first?"

"You can fool big sister, since she hasn't regained her full memories, but why can't you see that big sister has regained some of her memories?"

"What a hopeless husband."

She moved a little and then stopped, gazing at the endless starry sky.

"What a clever bastard. How can someone be clever and stupid at the same time? So this is where you hid the Void Realm. Clever husband, your wives have searched everywhere for it. I hope they've moved on... but those idiots will remain stubborn, especially that purple big-mouthed parrot."

She snorted and entered the Void Realm without triggering its protective mechanisms.

"Oh, what's going on here?"

She was surprised by what she found.

"Ancestor, there's an issue."

"What is it?" the voice responded impatiently.

"Ancestor, the Fay is locked inside the system."

"That's good. We can have it and use that system. Did you say it also contains that 'thing' from those couples?"

"Yes, master told me so, and he merged them into one."

"That is indeed a troublesome issue. We planned to have three of that 'thing'. What has your stupid master done?" the voice shouted angrily.

"Ancestor, the main issue is that Master has sent the system to find its host," he said, looking down.

"What did you say? Let me check."

The voice murmured something.

"Don't worry. It is still inside this confined space. If they have concealed their presence, we will take our time after dealing with your master. You may go now."

"Yes, Ancestor."

Durken entered the room.

"Master, are you awake?"

...

"What is it now?" Novaah, now weaker than a mortal, asked, unable to understand why his fake origin was fine but his mana, qi, and energy were disappearing from his body.

"Master, can you help me find the princess?"

"Now it's too hard. They have already left for the starry realm."

"Not really, Master."

"What do you mean?"

"Master, this space is confined. Anything below prime being can't pass through."

"What! I didn't do any confinement."

"Yes, I did it."

"Why?"

"You'll know soon. It's a surprise for you, Master. Today is our anniversary, almost a chaos circle since you took me in."

"Okay, give me some time."

He went back to sleep, but as he closed his eyes, he felt something piercing his chest directly to his heart. He opened his eyes in surprise to see his trusted servant, sticking a knife into his chest.

"Durken, why are you doing this?"

Golden-purple blood flowed from Novaah's mouth and the wound on his chest.

"Master, are you surprised?"

"Yeah, it is indeed surprising," he answered casually, shocking everyone, including Loita and Luna.

"You can't count as someone who is about to die!"

(So master prepared for this.)

("This bastard still thinks I haven't regained some of my past memories. No wonder he was pushing us away, to marry this so-called chosen one.")

(Big sis, who was he to you?)

("Husband.")

(What!)

(Big sis, I promise you, we'll ensure you marry the chosen one, if he's male.)

("Don't worry. Since he insists on us marrying the host, we will marry the chosen one.")

(Big sis, are you sure?)

("I've never been more certain in my life.")

(Should we go look for the chosen one?)

("What do you mean, 'look for the chosen one'? Can't you see he's right here?")

(Are you sure? Is Durken the right host?)

("Little Luna, are you blind?")

("Can't you see that there is someone else?")

(You can't be serious, right?)

("Novaah Chaos is a bastard. He wants to escape alone and leave his wives for someone else, while abandoning his burdens. What do you think we are?")

("You think of running away? Over our dead bodies. Luckily, those twins are in such a state, or you'd be crying blood.")

(....)

("Just asking.")

(Do you have other sisters?)

("Yes, I have seven sisters, but since he treats us this way and can't stand more girls, I plan on adding three more, you included.")

(No, I won't do it.)

("That is not up to you.")

(You can't force me, right?)

("No, it's not me. I can feel one of my sisters approaching. She's coming this way.")

"Durken, your master is so brave; he doesn't fear death," a voice said as an otherworldly young man appeared.

"Young Master Chaos, long time no see. And it should be the last time too. Oh, this is a sad moment for us, childhood friends."

"I wonder how Chaos' family will feel not knowing their young master is dying by the hands of his best friend and trusted servant," the young master laughed out loud.

"Young Master, we need to act quickly. I can sense an aura approaching. It should be one of the fiancées," the old man behind him said.

"We should hurry and take his soul and origin," the young master said.

He took out a liquid from a tube and handed it to Durken, who poured it onto the wound on Novaah's chest. As soon as the liquid made contact, the flesh disintegrated into light, revealing golden-purple blood, a black pitch sphere, and a transparent soul.
