Chapter 526 - Chapter 526: Misunderstandings and Black History

With a "crack!" sound, a sharp silver sword pierced through the door, aiming directly at the mysterious visitor knocking outside. The Blade Warrior's ruthless attitude showed he intended to kill with one strike.

If the silver sword weren't in the Blade Warrior's hand, it wouldn't have easily pierced the door while targeting the person outside.

With a "swish!" sound, the silver sword missed its target. The blade's tip gleamed in the sunlight, narrowly avoided by a bewildered Morbius.

Yes, it was Morbius who knocked on the door. Robert had sent footage of the Blade Warrior fighting vampires to Tony Stark and Morbius.

Although Morbius had overcome his bloodthirst with Tony Stark's help, he couldn't resist coming over to discuss with the Blade Warrior after seeing the footage and receiving Robert's partial analysis.

This was precisely Robert's intention. The Moon Knight sought the origins of werewolf power, so someone had to explore the origins of vampire power.

Even though March and Neil were vampires and werewolves of the same race, not every vampire and werewolf were of the same kind. The Moon Knight avoided vampire contact and focused on werewolves, making it necessary for Morbius, a unique scientific vampire, to conduct the research.

Morbius's strength was considerable, even surpassing the Blade Warrior. Working together, they might rival the Moon Knight, who wielded the Moon God's artifacts.

"Voldemort?!" Morbius exclaimed as the silver sword nearly pierced him. He wasn't afraid of the silver sword but didn't want to be injured for no reason.

"So fast! The opponent is strong!" Inside, the Blade Warrior's face darkened as his attack missed. He kicked the door, sending it flying towards Morbius outside.

With a "bang!", Morbius was startled as the door flew at him. He didn't understand why the Blade Warrior was so hostile. As he dodged, he saw the Blade Warrior charging at him, silver sword flashing, aiming for his body.

"Wait, wait! Let's talk this out!" Morbius called out while dodging. He came to learn more from the Blade Warrior and didn't want to fight.

"Such speed! Hmph! If I hadn't used up my other equipment, I could have slowed him down…" The Blade Warrior thought as he intensified his attacks. He never trusted a vampire's words in battle, knowing they were notorious for seducing people into becoming blood slaves or food.

To the Blade Warrior, talking was pointless in a fight with a vampire. He didn't believe Morbius wasn't a vampire because Morbius smelled like one, albeit different from others the Blade Warrior had encountered.

Moreover, Morbius looked like a stereotypical vampire, making it impossible for the Blade Warrior to mistake him.

"Why must you attack? Can't you wait a moment?" Morbius asked, dodging relentlessly. "If you keep this up, I'll have to fight back, and you might get hurt…"

"This vampire is humorous!" the Blade Warrior thought. He didn't believe a vampire seeking a fight wanted to talk, suspecting Morbius intended to stop him from hunting vampires.

"See, I should've knocked. You got chased immediately after knocking. How embarrassing!" A mocking voice came from nearby, causing the Blade Warrior to frown. He didn't smell another vampire, so the voice made him alert. But he couldn't afford to be distracted in battle, fearing Morbius would exploit it.

Though Morbius seemed to dodge, the Blade Warrior believed it was due to natural fear of his silver sword, a common reaction from the many vampires he'd hunted before.

The Blade Warrior's attacks intensified due to the mocking voice, while Morbius grew increasingly frustrated being chased silently.

"Don't blame me, then!" Morbius finally retaliated, darting past the silver sword and punching the Blade Warrior in the abdomen, sending him flying into his house.

"You kicked the door yourself. Don't blame me for that. Can we talk now?" Morbius asked as the Blade Warrior stood up, clutching his stomach.

"Strong! His power isn't necessarily greater than March's without my weapon suppression, but his speed is!" The Blade Warrior noted, glancing at his weapon station. If he could reach it, he might still have a chance.

"Why is he so hostile towards you? Have you met before?" Tony Stark, lacking complete footage from Robert, muttered in confusion. The Avengers didn't fully understand the Blade Warrior's deep hatred for vampires and his determination to kill them.

"Who knows?" Morbius replied irritably, seeing the Blade Warrior rolling towards his weapon station, arming himself while vigilantly watching the door.

"Are you seriously fighting in your own house?" Morbius sighed. "Aren't you afraid of wrecking it?"

The Blade Warrior, sensing something wrong, still harbored deep hatred for vampires. "Is he afraid of my equipment here?"

"Bam! Bam!" He fired shots, shattering his window, silver bullets whizzing towards Morbius.

"Bullets? Wait, these are silver?" Morbius, easily dodging, noted the bullets' material, knowing he wasn't a typical vampire suppressed by such weapons.

"What's going on?" The Blade Warrior wondered, recognizing Morbius's unusual reaction to silver. Morbius's previous behavior and current appearance still made him look like a vampire.

"Should I test him further?" The Blade Warrior thought, deciding to probe more. He cautiously approached the door, suspecting it might be a vampire's trick, even though no vampire had tried such tactics before.

"You finally came out!" Morbius sighed in relief, seeing the Blade Warrior still wary. "Can we talk now?"

"Yes, Morbius looks ugly, but that's no reason to attack him on sight. You didn't even see him before attacking, isn't that wrong?" Tony Stark teased.

"You…" Morbius glared at Stark.

"Whoosh!" Suddenly, a balloon-like object hit Morbius, releasing a pungent liquid, covering him in garlic juice.

"Huh?" The Blade Warrior glanced at Tony Stark, recognizing him and realizing he might have made a mistake.

In the USA, even if you don't know the president, you know Tony Stark. His fame as a playboy and hero was unparalleled.

"Uh…" Seeing Morbius drenched in garlic with no reaction, the Blade Warrior felt embarrassed. Silver weapons and garlic had no effect, proving his mistake.

"You're Iron Man?" The Blade Warrior asked Stark, feeling guilty under Morbius's glare.

"Haha! JARVIS, did you record that? Send it to everyone!" Stark laughed, planning to share the embarrassing moment, knowing it would haunt Morbius forever.

Good things are meant to be shared, and nothing beats witnessing someone else's mortifying moment. This would be Morbius's black history, a story that would embarrass him for decades.
