"An... egg?"
Leon's brows knitted slightly as his gaze fell upon something at the center of the hall.
At first, he mistook it for the monster described in the ancient legends of the Dwarven race—but he quickly realized he was wrong.
What stood before him was a colossal black egg. It was no ordinary egg—this one towered nearly thirty to forty meters tall.
Even from a distance, Leon could sense the aura of an incredibly powerful being emanating from it—so powerful that it made even him feel uneasy.
"Miranda, is the creature inside this egg the Evil God's mount? Or... could it be its offspring?" Leon asked quietly.
"I don't know, Master," Miranda replied hesitantly. "But as far as I know, the monster egg the Evil God once carried wasn't this large. Could it belong to something else?"
Sensing her uncertainty, Leon chose not to press the issue.
If Miranda didn't know, then he would have to uncover the truth himself.
