"Come back soon!"
"..." This was the first time Jing Yiren and Lu Ming had been separated for so long because of her, and her heart felt a slight pang of sorrow.
Jing Yiren pressed her lips together and nodded gently.
She lifted her gaze, reluctantly looking at Lu Ming.
Until the security officer called out, "Next!"
Jing Yiren gave Lu Ming one last deep look, turned around, and walked over to the security checkpoint, placing her bag into the security basket.
She stepped onto the security platform as the officer scanned her with an instrument.
Once it was over, Jing Yiren moved to the collection point, slung her small bag over her shoulder, and looked past the people lining up behind her to see Lu Ming still waiting by the security checkpoint.
Her heart inexplicably clenched, and for a moment, she suddenly didn't want to leave.
"Remember to take your motion sickness pills once you're on the plane!" Lu Ming reminded her from the other side of the security line, still worried.
