After hanging up the phone, Qin Yuji went to the study and saw Chi Jingxuan talking on the phone, discussing where to go for a vacation with someone in a negotiating tone.
The thought of getting out made Qin Yuji's face light up with anticipation.
She had been feeling quite bored lately, but with her delivery date approaching and her body feeling so heavy, it wasn't convenient to go anywhere. Qin Yuji had never brought it up, yet Chi Jingxuan had noticed it all.
Catching Qin Yuji's expression out of the corner of his eye, Chi Jingxuan's smile grew even warmer.
"Alright, then it's settled. We'll set off after lunch and meet up there," he said.
After ending the call, Chi Jingxuan walked over to Qin Yuji, took her hand, and they went back to their room to pack.
"Chi Jingxuan, can I really go? Can I really?"
Despite the good news, Qin Yuji still could hardly believe it.
