Dong Wenxiu sensed something was amiss. Whirling around abruptly, her complexion transformed as she rose to leave.
"Huinian," Yang Baiyue, however, grasped Dong Wenxiu's arm in one swift motion.
"Let go." Dong Wenxiu struggled, throwing off his grip, then continued to turn to leave. But after only a couple of steps, she caught a whiff of a fragrance and instantly felt dizzy, her feet unable to move.
