A lone goblin stood in an open field, sniffing the air and scanning the horizon. Its crude dagger dangled from one hand, rusted and chipped. Birds chirped overhead, and a soft breeze rustled the tall grass—until a voice broke the stillness.
"Fireball."
A brilliant sphere of flame materialized in the air, casting flickering shadows across the field. In an instant, it shot forward and struck the goblin with explosive force. Fire erupted around it, and in the blink of an eye, the creature was vaporized—leaving nothing but scorched earth in its place.
A few yards away, Arth stared, mouth agape. "Wow... the goblin got disintegrated," he said, genuinely impressed.
oo-woon blinked at the fading flames, a hint of surprise on his face. "Yeah… that might've been overkill. I only used a basic spell. Must be the result of having a B-rank ArcMage skill."
He brought up his status screen and opened the skill details.

Baffled by seeing his increased level.
"I'm already level 4 and have some spear stat points. And From the looks of it, I can assume that each level up gives me 5 stat points each time. He muttered, rubbing his chin. But how did I reached level 4 already?"(p) He remembers the wolf Arth took cared of...
"Oh yeah, the wolf that Arth slain back then." As he wrecks his head around thinking "As Arth is my summons that means the experience Arth gains from slaying monsters also shared with me."
As woon finishes checking his other spells. He explains arth his future plans
"Listen up arth!" In Teacher mode all serious
While arth sitting on a fallen trees trunk listening to woon
"From now on, whenever we're around others, we're going to act like a father and son duo, trying to start a new life."
"The father in concern used to be a adventurer, who left adventuring once his wife got pregnant. He started a new job involving less dangerous work. Everything was going perfectly until one day his wife died due to an incurable disease, though he lost everything thing, he still has his son to look after.
So he began teaching him how to survive and fight. And now, the two of them have decided to become adventurers officially, so they are traveling to the nearest town to join the Adventurers' Guild and officially begin their new lives."
As he finished the dramatic summary, he turned—only to find Arth's eyes brimming with tears. The knight sniffled, cheeks puffed and glistening.
"Waaahhhh… sob… such a tragic tale… such a noble father and son…"
Soo-woon blinked, taken aback. "Hey, calm down! It's just a backstory!"
Arth wiped his face, nodding solemnly. "I understand. It's beautiful."
With the emotional storm fading, they sat down and hammered out the finer details of their cover story—their names, fake hometown, their journey timeline, and how to react to possible questions.
Once the plan was set, they resumed their journey through the woods. The air was crisp, the path ahead uncertain, but their bond—between a young transmigrator and his loyal knight—grew stronger with each step.
To be continued...
