Hensung view:
As I started my last years I often got into fist fights and beat others up. I was the king of school, no one could beat me. That was until I met a boy, I was 16 as him but he seemed older. Not that he was much taller than me but he was kinda scary. He fought really well.
We're on our last year now, and until now. We've declared ourselves enemies. I don't care, I'm gonna rule school.
Today as always I'm gonna try fighting him, it's been a long time since I've winned. But that changes today.
I come into the class, asking a girl if she had seen him. Apparently she didn't. A boy who was sitting eating says that he leaved recently and was probably on the school's deposit. I thank the man and head out directly to there. As I arrive I see that there was no one there. Except for...Oh! It's him.
- Hey, dude! What's up? - I say in a mocking tone, I'm sure I'm gonna win today.
- What's up - He says in a kinda low tone, that startles me, why was he speaking that way?
- The hell dude, what happened with your voice?
- Oh it's nothing, also we're not gonna fight today.
What? Did he just said we're not gonna fight? But that's the only reason I come here and he says we're not gonna fight?
- What? We're not gonna fight? What do you mean?
- I'm really tired today, I just don't feel like it.
-Dude what the hell? Are you chickening out now? - I grab him by the shoulder making him turn at me. When I do that I see something horrible.
I can't trust my own eyes, what happened with him? What's that?
-Hey dude... What happened to you? - I asked terrified because of what I saw.
- It's nothing, leave me alone Hensung. - He said having a kinda angry expression.
- Sunmin, you're covered in bruises - My gaze softened, I hate him but seeing him like this is not something I've wished for my worst enemy.
I look to the sides, not sure how to react to this information. I want to help him but I don't know how.
- I'm sorry, I won't bother you - I look down, not sure on what I should do for him.
- Thank you? - He said in a kinda confused tone, he wasn't familiar with me leaving him like this, since we've been fighting non-stop for years and he seeing me suddenly backing up made he feel something.
I begin to leave the deposit, suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder.
- Wait, don't leave. - He said in a kinda scruny tone.
- Sure. - I turn around, he looks at me with a kinda darken out expression.
He stares at me for a moment, suddenly he speaks.
- You can take the school for you, I don't care. I've always find it amusing how you fought me even if you've always losing. But from today and after I'm not gonna fight you anymore. I'm really tired. - He said in a kinda serious tone, I can't believe on what he's saying. He don't wanna fight anymore? What?
- Dude, what are you saying? - I look at him kinda shocked.
I don't wanna stop fighting him but this bruises. Something really bad must be happening.
- Tell me, what happened to you? - I asked approaching him, I have a worried expression.
- It's nothing, I just had a lesson like he said. - He scoulls, he has a kinda irritated expression but that didn't stop me from keep asking him.
- I know that doesn't fit me but if you need to talk about something. - I look down grabbing one of his hands loosely and timidly.
- I don't need your help, damn it! I swear that I tried being kind with you right now but you're just too stubborn. - He shouted kinda angrily.
I got startled, usually he would be smirking and I angry but I feel weak and he's the angry one today.
- I'm sorry, I just wanted to help you. - I say almost crying.
He notices my tears, his gaze softens.
- I'm sorry it's just that I've been dealing with some things at home that...- He suddenly stopped, he looked at me with his eyes lowered.
- What happened at your home? - I ask kinda worried.
- Ugh, it's my father. He came home and now he beats me up. Are you happy now? - He sighs clearly upset.
My eyes widened, I couldn't believe that. Wait, what does he mean by his father came home, was he somewhere else? I want to ask but that'll probably turn him angrier.
- I'm sorry. - I said trembling.
- It's fine. - He said leaving.
