It wasn't that she couldn't write them, but the Global Center's design draft had been rejected by Leng Youchen at the last meeting. He demanded that the core team redesign it, claiming their concept lacked any semblance of innovation.
By the end of June, the Global Center project would begin bidding. Their time was extremely tight, and all five designers were in low spirits after their preliminary draft had been dismissed. The atmosphere in the office was particularly stifling.
