At Comerica Park, people were lining up to get into the arena hours before the game was scheduled to kick off. It had somewhat become a social event in the carpark with plenty of people cooking food and having drinks.
This was called a tailgate party, something common at sporting events like football, baseball and NASCAR racing.
Ken and Daichi caught a taxi into the venue and were waved past by the security, allowing them to skip past the numerous fans.
Usually, Ken would do his best to interact with fans, but he doubted that he'd be able to get to the field in time thanks to their sheer number today.
"They're pretty lively today…" Ken said, getting out of the cab and stretching.
"Well its the last game of the World Series, what do you expect?" Daichi quipped, grabbing his bag.
Ken shrugged and followed suit, heading towards the tunnels.
"Afternoon Charles." Ken nodded to the security guard, extending his fist.
