They traveled quickly towards the Ancient Holy Mountain at the center of the Ancient Realm. As they neared the center, a voice suddenly sounded in their ears.
"Stop and come here."
The voice startled Xiao Chen. Despite their protective Dou Qi barrier, the voice had penetrated effortlessly, indicating a power at least at the late Dou Saint level.
The four figures stopped immediately. Xiao Ze looked towards a towering green peak and, nodding to his companions, led the way.
On the peak stood a middle aged man in simple clothing, his eyes as deep as the starry sky, seeming to draw in one's soul.
"Father!" Xun Er smiled and moved to Gu Yuan's side, embracing his arm.
Seeing her act this way, Gu Yuan smiled. His daughter had always favored Xiao Ze, and her behavior now indicated she had a request.
