Early in the morning Lexi call Valeria to know about her situation.
"Hi love". A sweet conversation started. "Good morning". Lexi greeted with a smile drawn on her face. "How are you? I'm sorry I was not able to call you yesterday". She added.
"Good morning too". Valeria greeted back happily. "Do not worry I am fine and doing well, and about you not calling yesterday it is okay, you don't need to explain as I am well aware of your busy schedule, an update is enough. We have our own separate lives and it is okay". She understandingly says.
Their conversations ended with a sweet goodbyes. And as Lexi keeps on driving her way home she can not erase the fact of her home sickness.
ERIKA'S HOME
Erika woke up, her head in deep pain out of drunken.
"Ah shit". All that she can say while holding her head. "I still have a lot of work to do, what comes to my mind that I drink that hard last night". She then walk out of her room and headed straight right to the kitchen.
"You're awake?". Her mother then said as she sits down on the table. "Lauren drive you here yesterday. Why are you so drunk?". Her mother asked, it made her froze.
"Lauren? Perhaps did I say something to her?". A worried voice comes out of her mouth.
"I don't know, I left you two alone in your room that night". Her mother says, it made her even feel worse cause what if she really did or said something wrong, she's doomed.
All of the drunkenness that she felt left out of her body, now all that she can feel is fear and worry.
LAUREN AND ALLEN'S HOME
"You cheater how could you do this to me?!". A shout echoed on the room.
"Lauren you are being paranoid why would I do that?". Allen answered trying to manipulate Lauren, persuading Lauren to believe in him.
"Then what is this?". A receipt from their joint bank account came out of Lauren's hand, she tossed it at Allen's face. "It's your mistake! Really using our joint account on your side chicks?". Allen was silenced.
"Fine. Fine I cheated so what?". Lauren did not expect that answer, her head seems to hurt after hearing those.
"So what?! Gosh all those years mean nothing to you?!". Their fight continues.
"Yes! Yes it means nothing to me". Allen was also shouting at the moment, they were now like in a battle of loudest voice.
"We were only in an arranged marriage and you were well aware of that. I don't actually love you, I did not even like you, not even once. Honestly you were the only one who insisted on us marrying because what? Because you like me since high school and if only the bankruptcy on our company did not happen...I would not even bother to ask you to be my fiance, cause actually I like someone else... no actually I love someone else but now she is married to someone else, because of your selfishness I can not marry that someone I truly love ". A moment of silence filled the room.
" But still..."Lauren stutter as she continues on talking." Do I deserve this treatment? You should have just said, cause then I would not continue this ". She keeps on crying and crying, a question keeps on filling her thoughts.
" Let's end this, it never even started in the first place anyway". Allen walked out of the room, no not just the house he walked out on Lauren's life.
"It started, for me it started". Lauren just whispered as she watched Allen's back slowly fading away.
Her love was genuine and she thought Allen felt the same for her but she was wrong in every way, it was all a lie, none of it was ever true.
