10 PM at night.
Lu Hechen sent a message to Weilan.
"Weilan, I'm sorry."
Only five words, no extra speech.
Weilan saw the message, held the phone in her hand, staring at the words, her heart filled with a mix of emotions.
She didn't reply to the message.
Unexpectedly, at midnight, the window opened again, and Lu Hechen jumped in once more.
After he entered, he closed the window and drew the curtains.
Weilan had not fallen asleep either, she turned on a light and frowned as soon as she saw him, "Why are you here again?"
Lu Hechen approached the bed in a few quick strides, looking at Weilan, and said in a deep voice, "I was worried, so I came to apologize in person."
Weilan got up from the bed and got down to the floor.
Just as she stood there, her body was enveloped by Lu Hechen's embrace.
At that moment, Weilan's body was like it was nailed in place, hearing Lu Hechen's deeply apologetic voice in her ear, "I'm sorry, Weilan, I'm truly sorry."
