ANGELOU
I was a bit shocked to find Black standing outside my doorstep, but he was more stunned to find that I wasn't alone the minute I let him in. I watched closely as he gazed at Raphael, while the latter was just sitting comfortably and continuing his breakfast. Black's facial expression was readable. It doesn't need an expert to know what's going on inside his head right now. Just when I thought he would voice out his thoughts, he said something that I didn't expect to happen the soonest.
"Sir Ferdinand has arrived in the city, Miss Angelou, and he wishes to see you today. I was asked to pick you up."
But before I could even open my mouth, Raphael promptly responded. "I will take her there. Where is Mr. Levine staying?" He interrupted without even glancing at us.
"At The Continental's Presidential suite."
"Alright, we'll just finish our breakfast and will be there afterwards."
"But…"
