Silvia backed away but didn't drop her gun, Cain swiftly coming over to her side. He had locked the door behind him, but it wouldn't keep the men on the other side out for long.
"Resourceful, aren't you?" She tutted, the gun in her hand unwavering. "Who sent you?"
To her surprise, the men put down their guns, taking the initiative to reply to her questions. She couldn't say if that was a good thing or not.
"Unimportant. Hand over Angelo and we'll leave quietly." One of them stepped forward to say.
Silvia snorted, her reaction time impeccable. "Not a fucking chance," She muttered calmly, pulling the trigger and stepping back to close the door.
Her aim was perfect, the man who had spoken to her dropping to the floor. The sound of muffled gunshots going off behind the false door.
Angelo walked over, he had busied himself with grabbing weapons, but it didn't stop him from hearing the exchange Silvia had with their assailants.
