**Hosu City – Back Alley**
Hosu City – Back Alley
The alley reeked of smoke and blood. From afar, Hosu's chaos echoed—sirens, screams, fire. But here, in this pocket of violence, the world held its breath.
Midoriya knelt, frozen by Bloodcurdle, his body rigid despite the power pulsing beneath his skin. Iida struggled to stand, armor cracked, rage burning in his eyes. Before them, the Hero Killer loomed—katana raised, conviction blazing bright.
"You aren't heroes," Stain growled. "You're frauds."
Then, reality split.
A golden glyph ignited in midair, arcane runes spinning like celestial gears. From it stepped Aiden Blaze—not the student from U.A., but the Fate-bound incarnation of magic itself. Cloak billowing, helmet gleaming, he hovered inches above the cracked pavement, light bleeding from every artifact on his body.
"Let's see…" Aiden's voice echoed, low and amused. "A broken hero and a broken villain. Hardly a fair fight."
Stain turned sharply. "Another kid, with a fancy outfit."
He didn't wait for an answer. He lunged—faster than most could follow—blade aimed straight for Aiden's heart.
Clang.
The katana struck enchanted cloth and stopped cold. The impact rang out like a bell, then died as the blade slid off, harmless. Aiden didn't flinch.
"Well," he said dryly. "That was embarrassing. Want to try again?"
With a flick of his wrist, he knocked the katana aside. It clattered against the wall. Snarling, Stain drew a hidden dagger.
"Nope."
Golden chains erupted from the air, laced with glowing sigils—the Mystic Symbols of the Seven. They wrapped Stain mid-leap, pinning him like an insect in amber. He slumped, unconscious, limbs frozen in mystical bonds.
Silence fell, broken only by Midoriya's awed whisper:
"Was that… a new skill?"
Aiden crouched, pressing a glowing ankh to Midoriya's chest. Warm light pulsed outward, dissolving the quirk's grip.
"Just some new magic I picked up last night," Aiden replied.
He moved to Native, the wounded pro-hero, laying a hand over his bloodied chest. The glow returned—brighter, steadier. Native's ragged breath calmed. Life returned.
Footsteps echoed—fast, deliberate. A burst of ice and fire lit the alley.
Todoroki arrived.
He stopped cold at the sight: Stain, defeated; Midoriya, alive; Iida, shaken; and in the center, a golden god.
"Aiden Blaze," Todoroki said. "Didn't think I'd see you here."
"Blame Mt. Lady. She wanted to play hero when she saw the news." Aiden glanced over his shoulder. "Then Midoriya sent his location, so I came to check."
Todoroki approached cautiously. "You stopped him?"
Aiden looked down at the unconscious killer. "He wasn't that strong. Not really villain material."
Midoriya stood, still trembling. "Thank you… you saved us."
"No need for dramatics," Aiden said, though his tone softened. "You three got lucky. Don't count on that next time."
Iida finally found his voice, hoarse with shame. "I almost got you all hurt… because of my revenge—"
Aiden studied him for a moment. "Your brother nearly died. Your anger's justified. Just make sure next time you pick a fight you can win."
Iida's head bowed.
Footsteps thundered again—police this time. Endeavor's flames danced in the distance. The alley lit up with red and blue as support heroes arrived, weapons drawn.
"What happened here?" barked a voice behind the barricade.
Aiden didn't answer.
He turned to Midoriya and Todoroki. "My time's up. Mt. Lady's waiting."
"You're not sticking around for credit?" Todoroki asked.
"Credit? I don't think anyone sticking around here is getting much of that." Aiden's smile was faint. "You'd better disappear, or you'll get stuck explaining this."
With that, the runes lit again—gold spiraling outward. And he was gone, leaving only fading light and stunned silence behind.
Shizuoka – Commercial District, Later That Night
Flashbulbs popped across the street.
The media had arrived in full force, camera drones buzzing in the air as Mt. Lady struck a dramatic pose, one heel perched on the collapsed body of a downed Nomu. She adjusted slightly, making sure her good side faced the cameras while casually holding the creature's tail like a handbag.
"Yoroshiku~! Another win for Mt. Lady!" she chirped, flashing a peace sign.
A news anchor breathlessly narrated into a mic, "Here in Shizuoka, Pro Hero Mt. Lady has subdued one of the Nomu creatures reported in Hosu. We're hearing rumors of coordinated attacks—"
A golden glyph shimmered to life beside her. Wind swirled. Reporters gasped and snapped rapid photos.
Aiden stepped out of the portal like a ghost from another realm—helmet gleaming, cloak swaying, faint magic crackling around him. His arrival caused a stir, but most assumed he was some kind of summoned ally.
Mt. Lady didn't even flinch.
"You missed your chance," she said, smiling without breaking her pose. "They think I took this guy down solo. One more villain and my popularity's going through the roof."
"Well, then you're in luck. In the future, there'll be plenty more villains. Enough to make you sick of them." Aiden's tone was dry as he walked over.
She finally dropped the tail and faced him, brushing hair from her face. "If there's too many, I'll just call Kamui Woods." She smirked. "By the way, what did you do?"
"Saved two students. Healed a hero. The usual."
"Wow." She blinked. "Helping a hero—that might actually be good for your reputation. Do you even remember which hero you saved?"
Aiden watched a photographer trying to zoom in for a better angle. "No. Didn't ask his name. I doubt he's important to the next part of the story."
She snorted. "Well, at least he's better off than some tragic anime protagonist."
Aiden tilted his head. "We're done here. We should head back."
Mt. Lady glanced around at the flashing lights and sighed, letting her fake smile drop. "Yeah. Let's go."
Aiden raised his hand. The glyph returned—brighter this time, its spinning runes casting long shadows across the pavement.
"Back to base?" she asked, stepping in beside him.
"Yes. Before the press decides I'm your sidekick."
She gave him a wicked grin. "Too late."
And with a blink of golden light—
They were gone.
