Too salty?
Shu Yu and the village chief picked up some with their chopsticks and tasted it.
The flavor is just right, I don't find it salty.
Jing Min also picked up some with her chopsticks and chewed: "No, the taste is just right."
Grandma Jing didn't believe them and also took a bite.
The elderly tend to have stronger taste preferences, and Grandma Jing wasn't particularly sensitive to salt.
But she was an elder, while Tang Ying was pregnant, and a pregnant woman's taste can change.
After swallowing the food, rather than commenting on the saltiness or blandness, she reminded Shu Yu, "From now on, when cooking, have Tang Ying try it for seasoning!"
Shu Yu didn't show much emotion on her face, "Yes."
Tang Ying looked at Shu Yu awkwardly, "Sorry, Mom, the food you made is really delicious, but I just don't have an appetite."
Tang Ying put down her chopsticks.
Shu Yu looked at her, frowning slightly, "You're not eating anymore?"
