The next morning arrived sooner than he would have liked. He cracked his eyes open when the alarm started drinking. Reaching over, he turned off the clock that was set for nine on the weekends.
He twisted over, his face towards the mattress as he pushed a pillow on his head for extra darkness. He was in no mood to get up, even though sleep was far away from him. All he wanted was the headache to go away.
Headache was expected, why was he having body ache?
"Wake up, Brandon." Killian's cold voice in the silence made hip-hop, his eyes open under the pillow. " Your alarm is going to go off in 10 seconds."
That soon? Wait, Killian? By the time Brandon took away the pillow from his head, his alarm was already ringing. With one hand, he turned it off while history was being supported by the other, and his face was looking ahead at Killian.
"You.." Brandon licked his dry lips before speaking again, they hurt. " why did you come?"
