"Huh?"
"Huh?"
Persephone and Hestia both displayed expressions of utter shock and disbelief. Their eyes were wide with surprise, as if they couldn't comprehend what was happening before them.
"This…"
Rhea, at this moment, had also fallen into silence.
What was going on here?
Another perfect underworld warrior? No! Wasn't this a bit too easy? On the very first day of creating the perfect underworld warrior search machine, they had already found two perfect warriors in one go?
The efficiency was... devastating!
"..."
Persephone, Hestia, and Rhea remained in stunned silence, unsure of what to say.
In the Pure Land of Bliss, Erebus and Nyx were also silent. The two Ancient Gods both glanced at Hades, seemingly wanting to say something, but after a moment of contemplation, they found themselves unsure of what to say.
How could they put this into words? It felt like something was off, but they couldn't quite articulate what it was.
A miracle!
Wasn't this simply a pure miracle?
It turned out that miracles, for Hades, were just something he hadn't bothered to seek out. When he did look for them, they were everywhere. Anything Hades wanted could be effortlessly achieved.
At that moment, the two ancient gods could only remain silent.
Comparing gods was pointless, as it only led to frustration.
There was no contest between them and Hades. It was like miracles were lining up to serve him on a silver platter.
It couldn't be denied that everything Hades had achieved was through hard work and careful planning. But this business with the perfect underworld warriors? It was a bit much! It was beyond explanation.
Hades calmly remarked, "I'm not sure either. I don't know why this is happening. Perhaps miracles are favoring me, but I don't know where this favor comes from."
"Maybe..." Hades hesitated, before continuing, "Perhaps a higher being has cast a curious glance in my direction. Maybe all my successes are the result of that one glance."
Hades was sharing his thoughts. He wasn't downplaying his own efforts, but simply acknowledging reality. Miracles were happening, undeniably so.
Even for gods, there was a limit to luck. While gods were naturally expected to have endless luck, the situation Hades was facing was beyond extreme from any angle.
No one could seriously believe the perfect underworld warrior search machine was solely responsible for this success, right? Of course not! The machine merely offered a possibility; the real miracle came from Hades himself.
At that moment, Hades involuntarily lifted his head.
His deep eyes seemed to encompass the entire universe, as though piercing through the underworld, through the mythological world, and through the chaotic sea beyond.
In that instant, it was as if he was standing in a vast library. Inside, he saw a figure—empty and ethereal—who smiled faintly at him.
"Hades!"
"Hades!"
Erebus and Nyx, at nearly the same moment, rushed to Hades' side, completely abandoning their usual composure. They shook him desperately.
Hades quickly snapped back to reality.
"I'm fine," he said weakly. "I'm fine."
Only then did Erebus and Nyx breathe a sigh of relief. Nyx urgently added, "Hades, don't look. Don't try to peer into that. Just now, you almost…"
Hades shook his head and replied, "I know. It was my own carelessness. But it did confirm something."
"My miracles are indeed the result of someone's gaze."
"But let's leave it at that."
Hades chose not to discuss the matter further. He understood clearly.
In the presence of higher-dimensional beings, he was nothing more than a toy. No—more accurately, he was like an ant. They might have looked at him briefly because the ant was jumping around, and they found it amusing.
But because these beings were so incomprehensibly grand, even that one casual glance had given him unparalleled blessings.
As absurd as this might sound, it was the truth. The more one thought about it, the more astounding it became.
Hades couldn't help but shake his head, calming his thoughts.
Afterward, Hades, Erebus, and Nyx all agreed not to dwell on the matter any longer. This was the end of the discussion.
Hades didn't realize that from the very beginning of his soul's journey, everything had been watched. But in the grand scheme of things, this meant nothing.
Traversers! Reborn souls! These beings existed in infinite numbers within the chaotic sea and beyond. Hades was just one among countless others.
However, Hades had already begun to forge his own path. Slowly but surely, he was surpassing his original destiny. Naturally, this drew some attention, though it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
At the very least, for Hades, this attention brought endless miracles, and that guiding light was something self-evident.
Hades withdrew from his contemplation, deciding not to think about it further. He wasn't yet qualified to ponder such things. All he could do was watch quietly, waiting for the future, when he might have a chance.
No, Hades was confident—absolutely certain—that in the future, he would gain the qualifications to enter a higher dimension.
Even though the path ahead would be incredibly difficult, he was determined to succeed.
This was the most important thing for Hades: an unwavering belief that he would succeed.
