Yin Xiner stood beside Wen Jichen, her heart shrouded in deep panic and unease.
Wen Jichen was clearly right by her side, everyone knew he was hers, and it was obvious that he and Ling Qingan were in a state of mutual avoidance, from beginning to end they hadn't said a word to each other, or even exchanged a glance.

"Jichen?" Her gentle voice called out, not loud, but enough for the two beside them to hear.
Wen Jichen lowered his gaze, turning to look at her.
Beside them, Ling Qingan and Shen Ji instinctively looked over, and the gazes of the four intertwined in the air.
Yin Xiner tugged her lips into a smile, nodded at Ling Qingan with a gentle and graceful expression.
