Lisa's assigned secretary for Gru stood to the side, slightly bowing as she handed over materials relevant to today's meeting.
If New Era were a kingdom, then West State was an independent fiefdom within it. Gru, the vice president, was like a feudal prince. His unique professional background often made his colleagues feel unconsciously pressured when dealing with him.
Nodding slightly at the two young women, Gru took the meeting materials from his secretary. His expression was stern.
"Mr. Gru, of the four items on today's agenda, two involve West State. I've placed the relevant materials at the front, but according to the meeting schedule, these two items will be addressed last."
