Chapter 20
After going through the gate that was revealed after the crumbling of the throne, they entered the 9th Floor
"What's this" said Merlin
"I see nothing but black" said riley
The party was standing in a black room with no light
"I'll cast some illumination magic " said Lisa
Suddenly the gate behind them dissappeared
"Our exit is cut off now!" Said merlin
"What the heck is going on" exclaimed riley
All were in shock and confusion, when suddenly everything around them got distorted
"What's going on !!!" Exclaimed lisa
The distortion kept happening, and they all stood there without movement as they could hear a very faint voice
Due to a bright light, they all closed their eyes, as they opened their eyes
They were standing on a street, crowded with people and shops
It seemed like a normal day in the market
Lisa
"What"
Sreya
"Weren't we inside a Dungeon a moment ago "
Merlin
"I think we are inside the Dungeon "
Riley
"What do you mean"
Merlin
" some dungeons have dungeon mimics that behave in certain ways and are skilled in illusion magic"
Sreya
" you mean to say the people we see right now, the breeze we feel, and the voices we hear are all either illusion or due to presence of Dungeon mimics "
Lisa
" so, how do we beat this floor, its seems like we are already trapped in their illusion"
Merlin
"There is a way, we have to find the boss mimic who should be disguising itself "
Riley
"Merlin are you sure about this being an illusion
Merlins looks at riley in confusion " why?? "
Riley then points towards the crest on the castle which is situated at a certain distance from where they were standing
Merlin and the others get shocked after seing the crest, it was the crest with a rising sun in the sky and rising moon in the ocean
"No way!,,somehow, we are standing in the capital of the Kingdom Orchania" exclaimed merlin

Lisa
"First the king's statue that asks questions, the questions being related to the hero of calamity, the crest of Orchania on stone soldiers and now this"
Sreya
"This all seems intentional "
All the people passing by were looking at them weirdly
Riley
" Let's move to somewhere quiet "
They went in a small empty alley
Riley
" what's gonna be our course of action"
Merlin
" this all seems too real to be an illusion by dungeon mimics, but, we can't let go of the possibility "
Sreya
" if we don't have any clues moving forward, then why don't we visit the castle"
Lisa
"Visit the castle? How is that a good idea"
Sreya
" its because the last floor was closely related to the Orchania kingdom, and it was a throne room no less, the only lead we have right now is the castle"
Merlin
"That makes sense"
Sreya
"Then again, we cant just barge in "
Riley
"We can t really burst right in like we own the place"
At that moment a loud voice was heard from the main street, catching the attention of four of them
"" EVERYONE MAKE WAY FOR THE SOLDIERS, THEY ARE GONNA PASS BY THIS STREET, ON THEIR WAY TO THE CASTLE"
Lisa smiles and says
"I just had an idea"

After a while the group of soldiers passed through the main street towards the castle to report to the king
At the back of the group the four of them were disguised as the soldiers
[ amazing, Lisa's disguise magic is amazing] thought riley
After a while they were at the entrance to the castle
The guard of the gate screamed
"MAKE A LINE, SHOW YOUR ID'S AND ENTER"
All the soldier made a line
The four of them were standing at the last
"What the hell are we gonna do about the ID"
riley turns his head and whispered behind to merlin
"I have no idea" Merlin said
"I'll cast persuasion magic, all you have to do is make up a story and they'll believe you"
Said Lisa who was standing at the last
"Ontrast" as lisa casted this spell, magic circle formed over their lips which dissappeared
" Hey, its your turn, get over here!!!!" Screamed the guard
Riley does as told
Guard
"Give me your ID"
Riley
"I dont have it"
Guard
" what do you mean you don't have it"
Riley
" my friend used it to wipe his butt"
"What!?!?!," said the confused guard
"Yes" said riley with confidence
Guard
" where is he now, bring him here"
Riley
"I cant"
Guard
" why??"
Riley
" because he died"
Guard
"He died?? How !??"
" while wiping his butt, he cut himself by the sharp edge of the id card and bled to death" said riley with fake tears
"No way!! He died such a tragic death !??" Said the guard crying
Merlin was flabbergasted
Sreya was trying to deny the fact that this guy is her brother
Lisa felt as if her magic got violated
"I can totally related to your friend, the sharp edge of the card makes it very hard to use
for butt wiping"
said the sympathetic crying guard
Taking the opportunity all of them passed the crying guard
"I didn't know i had talent for making up stories " said proud riley
"Believe me brother it wasn't your talent!" Exclaimed Sreya
Seing this merlin gave a small laugh
"You guys are something else" said Merlin
"GUYS COME ON OR YOULL BE LATE" said the soldier as he walked away
The group started to follow the soldier
[I've never seen her laugh like that] thought lisa while smiling

In the throne room all the soldier that were gathered formed a passage of honor for the kings guest
The four of them were also in the formation of the passage
[Yes , just as i had thought the king looks identical to the kings statue in the 8th floor] merlin thought
The other four also noticed it
"Brother, who are we forming this passage for" Riley whispers to the soldier beside him
"You don't know? Its because our kings guest is gonna arrive today" the soldier whipered back
[ kings guest?, who could it be, there wasn't much info on Orchania kingdom] thought merlin
The Herald starts announcing
"OUR ESTEEMED LEADER,THE KING CROLENN 'S GUEST OF HONOR HAS ARRIVED
GREET THEE HERO RAEOS SKARADIA"
