Han Xin hesitated, about to ask something about it, but the man groaned beneath Xiang Yu's boot.
"I don't know anyone like that, but… there is a high secure area one floor down." Blood and saliva choked his voice as he forced the words out. "You might find them there."
Xiang Yu nodded, his expression satisfied. "Good."
Before the man could even plead for mercy, a sharp bang echoed through the corridor. Xiang Yu pulled the trigger, the shot piercing the air. "Consider that merciful," he said coldly as the lifeless body slumped beneath him.
Turning away, they walked towards the elevator at the end of the hallway. The weight of what had just happened hung heavy in the air. Han Xin glanced at Xiang Yu, concern flickering in his eyes. "Are you sure we will find him here?"
Xiang Yu scanned the keycard, a hopeful expression emerging. "I hope so."
