Xiao Yeli looked at her retracting her phone, a smile curling up at the corners of his mouth as he spoke.
"If you still want my company, then shut up,"
Bai Qingzhu was already prepared to drive.
Xiao Yeli still chuckled, then named a place.
Upon arriving at the entrance of the restaurant, the car stopped, and Xiao Yeli looked at the person following beside him, unable to suppress the smile tugging at his lips.
How long had it been since they'd been like this? Everything felt as though it had happened just yesterday.
Xiao Yeli chose a seat by the window, but was refused by Bai Qingzhu.
Too many people knew Xiao Lijin; if the media caught wind of this, clearing their names would be difficult.
Xiao Yeli didn't insist, and followed her to a table in the middle.
"What do you feel like eating?"
"Whatever."
Bai Qingzhu didn't even touch the menu.
Xiao Yeli, unusually patient, perused the menu and began to order. He remembered all of the dishes she used to like.
