"Bastards!" Poseidon, his earlier composure gone, his voice furious, enraged by Mika's words.

He hadn't anticipated such a dismissive attitude from these mortals. To be treated as a stepping stone, a means to an end... it was a humiliation he couldn't bear.

He raised his trident, and the very oceans themselves seemed to respond to his fury, the water within the Sea Realm churning, threatening to engulf the entire undersea temple.

"He's furious!" Siren Sorrento murmured, his voice filled with a mixture of awe and terror as he watched the unfolding chaos.

In his earlier duel with Airmid, he had been utterly defeated, his pride shattered. And now, facing Poseidon's unrestrained wrath, he felt a primal fear, a sense of his own insignificance.

Airmid, however, remained unfazed, her gaze fixed on the swirling vortex of water above, her Gold Cloth gleaming in the dim light.

"Is this the true power of Poseidon?" Airmid murmured, though her voice held no fear.

While a Saint could easily replicate such a feat, what truly intrigued her was the subtle manipulation of Laws within the water, a power far beyond that of an ordinary God.

The Gold Saints, through generations of training, had imbued their techniques with fragments of these Laws, but their understanding was incomplete.

Poseidon, however, was different.

———

"The power of a true God..." Mika, within Poseidon's temple, also felt the shift in reality, the pressure of the Sea God's divine power.

He had experienced a similar sensation with Athena, but this was different, its intensity far greater.

Athena, in their duels, had always held back. Poseidon, however, was unleashing his full power, his killing intent palpable.

"Our own Laws are being suppressed," Shaka said, his voice grim.

"He's right. The space around us... it's rejecting my control. My spatial abilities are useless," Mu added, his voice filled with a quiet frustration.

"Same here," Saga confirmed, nodding.

"Don't worry—" Mika said calmly, his voice a reassuring presence amidst the chaos. "He's simply replaced the Laws of this world with his own."

It was a common tactic among powerful Gods—

—To truly defeat a God, one had to overcome not just their raw power but also their mastery of the world's fundamental principles.

Their power was a manifestation of the Laws they embodied.

Gods, in their eternal quest for greater power, constantly sought to understand and manipulate these Laws, to reshape reality itself.

It was a process of creation, of evolution, a journey towards true divinity.

As they progressed, their mastery of a single Law would expand, their powers becoming more versatile, their influence more profound.

And once they achieved a complete understanding, they could create their own worlds, their own realities, becoming true creator Gods, their power limitless.

They could then traverse the multiverse, exploring other worlds, other dimensions!

Mika didn't know the full extent of this power. Athena had shared some of her knowledge, but even Yahweh, with her vast experience, didn't fully comprehend it.

According to Athena, such beings existed, even in their own world, Gods who had transcended their own kind, who had become something more.

They were the true Gods, the ones who shaped the very destiny of the multiverse.

And Athena, Hades, and Poseidon, even Zeus himself, were still on that path, their understanding of the Laws still incomplete.

Therefore, Poseidon, by unleashing his divine power, had transformed the space around them, replacing the world's natural Laws with his own, rendering Shaka, Saga, and Mu's Law-based abilities useless.

Unless they were true Gods themselves, with their own mastery of these fundamental principles, they were helpless. And even then, in Poseidon's domain, their power would be suppressed.

Normally, to face such a threat, the Gold Saints relied on Athena's blessing, her divine protection shielding them from the influence of other Gods.

But Mika had asked her to withdraw her protection.

He wanted to experience Poseidon's power firsthand.

"Then what do we do?" Mu asked.

"Don't worry. His Laws only affect our specialized techniques. Physical attacks, powered by our Cosmo, are still effective. After all, both our worlds, and his, are built on the same foundation: Cosmo," Mika explained with a smile.

Gold Saint techniques could be divided into two categories:

Those imbued with the power of Laws, capable of seemingly impossible feats, like Saga's Another Dimension, which could banish an opponent to another realm.

Deathmask's Sekishiki Meikaiha, which could send souls to the Underworld—and Camus's Aurora Execution, which could achieve absolute zero.

And those that focused on pure, unadulterated destruction, like Dohko's Rozan Hyakuryuha, Saga's Galaxian Explosion, and Seiya's Pegasus Meteor Fist.

Seiya, in fact, possessed almost no Law-based techniques. His fighting style was a testament to his belief in pure, overwhelming power, his every attack a manifestation of his unwavering resolve. He was a warrior who sought to overcome any obstacle through sheer force of will.

———

"Physical attacks, huh?" Shaka, Saga, and Mu nodded.

They were all versatile warriors, with a wide range of techniques at their disposal.

Shaka's Tenma Kōfuku, Mu's Stardust Revolution, and Saga's Galaxian Explosion were all powerful physical attacks.

After all, most Saint techniques were physical. Law-based abilities were rarer.

Even among the five main Bronze Saints, only Hyoga and Ikki possessed such techniques.

Seiya, Shiryu, and Shun were all physical fighters.

Therefore, every Saint possessed at least one powerful physical attack, even if it wasn't their primary technique. And Shaka, Saga, and Mu were all-rounders, their arsenals diverse and deadly.

While Poseidon's Laws might limit their options, their overall strength hadn't been significantly affected.

And this experience, this battle against a God's Laws, would undoubtedly provide them with valuable insights.

"Then shall we begin?" A golden light erupted from Mika, his Cosmo igniting, a torrent of fiery energy swirling around his light spear and sword.

It wasn't a Law, but pure, unadulterated power.

The Gold Cloths worn by Mika and the others began to glow, their forms shifting, transforming into God Cloths.

"God Cloths... Is that your trump card?" Poseidon sneered, a mocking smile on his face as he swung his trident. "Then let me shatter your illusions."

He wasn't like the Twin Gods, easily defeated by such a display of power. A mere God Cloth wouldn't be enough to defeat him.

Or so he thought.

He was a great God, after all. But in his current vessel, he wasn't much stronger than the beings he now scorned.

"Then let's see you try."

Mika vanished, reappearing instantly before Poseidon, his movements a blur of light.

It was a speed beyond mortal comprehension, a basic ability for a God.

Poseidon easily tracked his movements.

"Clang!"

Their weapons clashed, a shockwave of destructive energy erupting outwards, extending beyond the temple, shaking the very foundations of the Sea Realm.

The battle had begun.

The Saints and Sea Generals, feeling the surge of power, their fighting spirit ignited, charged towards their respective opponents.

The war had reached its climax.

Within the temple, Mika and Poseidon were locked in a stalemate, their Cosmos clashing, a silent battle of wills.

They were both seasoned veterans, their understanding of combat refined through countless battles. They knew the importance of assessing their opponent's strength before committing to an attack.

Poseidon, having witnessed their power, had shed his earlier arrogance. He knew he couldn't underestimate them. While at his full power, they would have been insignificant, in his current vessel, with his power limited, he had to be cautious.

After all, he had been defeated by the Gold Saints before. He had initially underestimated them, believing Sanctuary was in disarray.

Now, he knew the truth. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

Just as Mika and Poseidon were locked in their struggle, Shaka, Saga, and Mu attacked.

However, Poseidon simply glanced at them, and they were sent flying, crashing into the temple walls.

Mika wasn't surprised.

They were unaccustomed to facing a Ninth Sense opponent. The difference in their Cosmo was immense. The Ninth Sense was a state of being, a transformation, a realm where Cosmo became divine power.

While Poseidon couldn't unleash his full power without his divine body, the quality of his Cosmo was still far superior to theirs.

To be defeated so easily in their initial exchange was expected.
