Ding Fan and Jiang Feng returned to the courtyard early to avoid attracting the attention of Wu Weier and Wu Cheng. Fortunately, the siblings were sound asleep and hadn't noticed what happened earlier.
The next morning, just as everyone was getting up, someone knocked on the courtyard gate.
Wu Weier went to open the gate.
"Wang Fang? Why are you here so early?" Wu Weier was a bit surprised.
Ding Fan came out of his room just then.
He naturally knew the reason for Wang Fang's early visit. Last night, he sent people to attack Jiang Feng, but they didn't return. Plus, the courtyard was still here; how could Wang Fang not come to check?
"Are you all alright, Wu Weier?" Wang Fang asked with apparent concern.
"Nothing happened..." Wu Weier was unaware of last night's events.
Jiang Feng also came out of his room and stood in the courtyard.
