Back at the seaside villa, Zhu Qingshuang was still awake.
"Qingshuang, is it that without me, you find the nights awfully lonely and can't fall asleep?" By now, Ye Haochuan and Zhu Qingshuang's relationship had basically solidified, but they hadn't yet pierced that final barrier of ambiguity. One of Ye Haochuan's ulterior motives for bringing Zhu Qingshuang along was to win her over.
Zhu Qingshuang glanced at him casually and scoffed, "Can you not be so full of yourself?"
Ye Haochuan chuckled mischievously and inched closer to Zhu Qingshuang. With a playful grin, he said, "Qingshuang, don't you think it's a little inappropriate for us to keep things this way?"
"What way?" Zhu Qingshuang replied, puzzled.
"You're already my woman, yet we haven't made any progress. Honestly, I think we should, you know, do something about that."
Seeing the suggestive look in Ye Haochuan's eyes, Zhu Qingshuang said, "Keep dreaming! Your lady here isn't ready yet!"
