The super-caliber space railguns have all withdrawn from battle; the temporary supply of Element Annihilation Bombs are limited by effective radius and can no longer fully breach the layered protective barrier of the super-giant Biological Space Mother Ship after its fusion. Meanwhile,
the combat motherships bearing the brunt of the attack have already lost more than half. The ship-mounted main cannon fire hitting the Biological Space Mother Ship's protective barrier is futile, as if scratching an itch, incapable of breaking the defense; even a slight tremor is soon restored to its defensive strength.
Conversely, the protective barrier of the combat mothership does not have the resilience that the Biological Space Mother Ship does; it's easily breached by the successive self-destructing parasitic species, followed by a swarm of even more parasitic species, with the armor's physical defense and intercept fire net unable to hold for long.
