The relationship between relatives isn't that easy to maintain. The bigger the household, the more it needs those socially astute, adept "social terrorists" to gather all the relatives together for a harmonious and pleasant reunion dinner.
King Mu's Mansion more resembles a military camp than a traditional noble family, so the dinner atmosphere is a bit cold. Family members gather in small groups, chatting about their own matters. Most of the men come from the military and are still dressed in uniform. Some, like Mu Yuming, are in suits, seemingly having their own businesses outside.
But certainly none as wealthy as Mu Yuming.
No matter how much family wealth Old Master Wang accumulated, once divided among the various houses, it's not much. Besides, the Mu Family is not known for their business acumen. Doing business earns money, but not much.
Behind Mu Yuming, however, is the colossal Four Seas Commerce Guild, which owns a private bank.
