While Tom and Mantis were frantically searching for any trace of Fang Xiaocao, Taotie had just ended his battle by kicking the skull off a Half-step Super Bionic Robot.
"What are you two looking for?"
Taotie, seeing Tom and Mantis running around like ants on a hot pan, asked in confusion.
"The Princess is missing!"
Mantis replied casually.
"Oh!"
"I thought it was something big…"
Taotie shrugged indifferently, but before he finished his sentence, he froze mid-word.
"What?"
Taotie exclaimed in shock.
His expression shifted to one of utter disbelief.
"The Princess is missing?"
Taotie widened his eyes as he questioned.
"Missing!"
Tom and Mantis answered in unison.
And just like that, Taotie lost his composure, too.
He joined the search party for Fang Xiaocao.
Taotie even searched under King Qinguang's desk.
If there were mouse holes, Taotie would've torn them apart just to make sure Xiaocao wasn't hiding there.
