Su Yang sat in her office chair, her eyes on the documents, but her thoughts were elsewhere.
Today was her birthday. Yesterday, she had hinted at Ji Chengzhou, asking if he was busy lately and when he'd be home. He said he was working on a project and wouldn't be back for at least two more days.
She knew he was making preparations for their move to Canada and doing it all for their future, but she still couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed.
This was her first birthday since they'd been together.
Knock knock knock.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
She looked up. It was her secretary.
"President Su, there's a package that needs your personal signature."
Su Yang nodded. "Bring it in."
"Alright." The secretary turned to leave and soon returned, pushing a large box in on a small cart.
