Ou handed the phone to Mengmeng.
Mommy had a rule for him: he couldn't use the phone for more than twenty minutes a day.
All of his precious time was spent video-calling Daddy.
Mengmeng handed the phone back to Ou.
"Play a little longer. Your mommy won't know."
Ou placed the phone to the side again, stubbornly saying, "No, I promised Mommy. A man should keep his word—Daddy taught me that."
Mengmeng thought that Ou was a child with a lot of self-control. This kid was bound to accomplish great things.
Unfortunately, she didn't know whether there'd be the chance to wait for that day.
Mengmeng turned off the lights for Ou and quietly left the children's room. Recently, Ou had been going to sleep very early. This little guy was full of energy during the day and didn't have time to rest.
Lu Mingxun was still pacing in the hallway when Mengmeng came out of the room. From afar, she called out to him.
"Second Young Master, are you looking for Ou? He's already asleep."
