I was told to update, so here it is.
__________
Rion/Toji's Apartment
Toji narrowed his eyes as he was not amused.
However, Rion shrugged at his gaze. "I don't get why you're so upset."
He crossed his arms. "You sent me out just to set me up with a job in a convenience store."
It wasn't having a job that made him irritated, but the fact that he was an assassin, an ex-sorcerer killer, and someone with a heavenly restriction made a convenience store the last thing on his mind for employment.
Besides, the pay likely wouldn't be great, even if Taro Sakamoto were one of the owners.
Killing was his only actual skill, after all. That, and losing nearly every gamble he takes.
Rion lay back as she sat down on the couch in the living room. "Well, Nagumo took over training Akira, you aren't in the Order, and we share most of our stuff. Getting a job with Sakamoto was the next best option. Tell me, what do YOU want to do for the rest of your life?"
Toji momentarily froze.
He still didn't have an actual goal in life. Sure, he's dating Rion and is keeping up with his training, but what does he really want to do with his life?
As soon as Akira moved into her own apartment, he lost his only job. He's been a part-time assassin (unemployed) for two years now.
Toji walked over and sat next to Rion, copying her.
While the recent years have been 'peaceful' (used very loosely), there were still people gunning for his head.
But what after that?
His eyes suddenly widened as he was reminded of the look on Sakamoto's face.
Sakamoto didn't have the stoic, neutral look on his face.
...
He was happy.
...
He definitely looked different, but in the years they spent being roommates and assassins, he hadn't seen Sakamoto with a fulfilled smile on his face.
Toji had tried to have a normal life with his first wife, but he was ultimately bound to Jujutsu society.
He hadn't been truly normal.
Rion turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow since Toji hadn't spoken up for around a minute.
He muttered out loud. "Maybe a normal life isn't all that bad."

Random Rooftop
*grumble*
A man held his stomach. "Jeesh, when can I get something actually good to eat?"
Although the boy was an assassin, not everyone in the business could earn a living. Most assassins had day jobs, and only the elite could sustain an income.
*pi!*
A white bird flew around his head.
He huffed a laugh with a helpless smile. "Feeding you alone takes 20,000 yen, Piisuke."
_______________
Piisuke
Age: 17
Occupation: Spotter (Bird)
_______________
The bird Piisuke landed on his shoulder and rubbed its beak on his cheek. The man turned toward Piisuke and smiled.
_______________
Heisuke Mashimo
Age: 21
Occupation: Assassin
_______________
This man, also known as Heisuke, glanced down at his sniper. "I could always sell it, but it would only be a temporary solution. Nah, it's not an option. I can't kill anything without a sniper."
While he was an excellent sniper, that was his only expertise. His precision even surpassed Sakamoto's, but he was beaten in every other category.
There were things he could sell, but all of them were necessary if he wanted to continue his profession. His phone, sniper, and bird Piisuke were among those he couldn't part with.
Although Piisuke wasn't there strictly as an assassination tool.
He fell on his back and pulled out his phone. "Might as well see some bounties. If I'm lucky, I can find a high bounty target before anyone else."
Given the number of assassins in Japan, high-profile jobs were usually taken fairly quickly by true professionals and would complete them before Heisuke could track them down.
Well, his air-headedness and trusting nature contributed to his lack of targets, as he would have had a hard time finding them, even with Piisuke's help.
As he scrolled through the targets, most of them were outside of his area. It would take hours to reach the general area on foot. Not having access to a car further hindered his ability to earn money.
To make it easier, there were numerous filters to find the perfect target.
Heisuke huffed a laugh as he put the filter on Tokyo and sorted the target from high to low. 'Might as well check out the biggest payouts in Tokyo.'
However, he wasn't expecting what he saw.
Usually, the highest bounty would pay out a few hundred million at most, but Heisuke had to rub his eyes to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.
The second-highest bounty was ¥300,000,000.
But the first was a picture of a man with black hair and a scar on his lip.
_____
Listed By: Anonymous
Target: (Picture)
Name: Toji Fushiguro
Location: Tokyo
Bounty: ¥ 5,000,000,000
Comments: "¥ 3,000,000 will be given for any useful information about his whereabouts."
Contact Info: 03-XXXX-XXXX
_____
Heisuke rubbed his forehead and yelled sarcastically. "Thanks for the help! 'Tokyo' is the only thing it says for the location!?"
Tokyo was massive, and not having anything other than Tokyo to go off of was a nightmare for an assassin.
His eyes widened as he saw the absurd amount of money for information alone. "Wait...information is ¥ 3,000,000!?"
It was no wonder that the location was so broad.
The listing had no idea where Toji Fushiguro was located other than Tokyo.
Lying about information crossed his mind, but he shook his head. "I don't want my own bounty. That'd be stupid."
*pi!*
Heisuke smirked as he saw a happy Piisuke. "We've got our payday, Piisuke."
He sat up and grabbed his sniper.

In a Club Basement
*snap*
A man with blonde hair put his hammer on a random target's face, and pulled it backward, twisting his head 180°.
_______________
Shishiba
Age: 26
Occupation: Order Assassin
_______________
This man was Shishiba, a fully fledged member of the Order, no longer a part of the 'B Team'.
After the target died, Shishiba pulled out his phone. "That's another one down. Boring like always."
*munch*
*munch*
Shishiba turned his head to the side and gave his partner a deadpan expression. "How can you eat snacks in a place like this?"
His partner, a woman with black hair, a dark purple dress, and a veil, tilted her head to the side. "I'm hungry."
_______________
Osaragi
Age: 21
Occupation: Order Assassin
_______________
Osaragi, a newer member of the Order, had an...interesting personality.
She was childish but displayed little to no emotion, even in high-stress situations. She is also a woman of impulse.
If she's hungry, she'll eat.
After Shishiba became her mentor, she joined the Order at the age of 19.
The two assassins didn't need to go together for this assignment, but Osaragi didn't care. She wanted to follow Shishiba on his mission, so she did.
Shishiba just shook his head with a sigh and turned back toward his phone to look for another target.
Given that he was a top-shelf assassin, he immediately went for the highest payouts.
He usually kept a stoic face, but his eyes widened when he saw one of the listings. To say he was shocked would be an understatement.
Shishiba muttered out loud. "Are they suicidal?"
Curious, Osaragi went behind him and stood on her toes to see his phone screen.
Shishiba was frozen with narrowed eyes as he was lost in thought.
Osaragi got off her toes and tilted her head to the side with her trademarked neutral expression. "Is there something strange with that guy?"
Since she is a new member of the Order and 21, she didn't experience the Toji era. Only a select few even know about him and what he is capable of.
Shishiba put his phone in his pocket and started walking out of the building. "Osaragi, if you see that guy, stay away unless you want to die."
He had only met Toji a single time when he was at the JCC, but he'd seen the aftermath of his work and the caliber of people he'd defeated.
Anyone who can defeat Takakura and come out with all of their limbs intact is someone to be feared.
Osaragi gave a simple nod, seemingly uncaring about his warning, but internally, she made an important note.

The New Order
An older man with brown hair and goggles sat down at a large round table. "I'm not the kinda' person to care about pleasantries, so let's get down to business."

Initially, he wasn't as strong as the rest of the Order candidates, but with the help of many powerful assassins, he was able to reach their level.
He is an unstable man with a peculiar personality, but he possesses a sense of justice that yearns to dismantle the current JAA.
While not all of the New Order assassins' agendas lined up, they all were there to do one thing.
Tear down the current JAA.
Kindaka continued. "The Order has only gotten stronger and added new members, so we're going to have to do this carefully. I've already been in contact with some possible allies, so we'll hopefully reinforce our current forces. If not, this will have to do."
...
X
The leader of X, a man with silver hair and a hammer on his back, put his hands in his pockets.
He sighed with a lazy expression. "Alright, do we have everyone here?"
_______________
Gaku
Age: 22
Occupation: X Leader
_______________
The group in front of Gaku consisted of 50 assassins. Most of the members are fodder, but others have been with the organization since its inception.

A notable man with a bow on his back cracked his knuckles with a wide smile. "I've been waiting to kill Toji!"
_______________
Tenkyu
Age: 25
Occupation: X Assassin
_______________
Another founding member with gauntlets on her hands matched Gaku's energy. "Remember, that's not the only reason why..."
Tenkyu gave her a closed-eye smile and cut her off. "Yeah, yeah, kill JAA guys too."
_______________
Kumanomi
Age: 23
Occupation: X Sub-Leader
_______________
The last founding member rubbed his forehead. "This is going to be a pain."
_______________
Haruma
Age: 24
Occupation: X Sub-Leader
_______________
Lastly, a man with blonde hair who looked rough for his age stood in the corner of the room.
_______________
Tasuku Ando
Age: 49
Occupation: X Affiliate
_______________
With the group of assassins hell bent on reforming the JAA, some wanting to kill Toji, and others just there for the fun of it, Gaku spoke. "Look, shit's going to go down and most of us are gonna' die, but we've got a job to do. Now, here's the rundown..."
There were many steps to take if they didn't all want to die immediately due to the overwhelming force that the JAA could produce, so numerous actions needed to be taken to bring down the JAA.
It was going to be a war.
