Didn't I tell you ? I went on that dinner date and guess who was stood up , and don't mistake me I wasn't surprised I just needed to confirm something, now guess who is royally pissed at me for going ?! I don't get why he's so mad ?!
" You don't get it ?" I yelp out of fear knocking my forehead on the wall with colourful words flying out my mouth
" Sweet eve mother of Cain ! Bloody hell Kaerith that hurts " I sniff rubbing my forehead , sitting up on the bed
" You have been lagging , we need to commence real training " he fixes his hard stare on me making me squirm under his scrutinizing gaze.
" Lagging ?! " Is he kidding me now ? I stand up walking towards the other side of the room, sitting at th edge of the table with hands folded over my chest " I ? Have been lagging ? Says the demon who disappeared for a week and suddenly appears out of nowhere , you have been doing this for week-" my words die in my throat as he closes in on me , causing my legs to carry me back , but unfortunately I'm at the edge of a freaking table
" You sound upset about that darling , did the lack of my presence affect you?" I groan inwardly as he boxes me in , his hands at both sides across my body leaving me no space to move
" Of course not " my voice comes out as a whisper , his warm breaths tingling the base of my skin , those eyes - the damn eyes drawing me in . What is it about the darkness that is so - alluring ?
" I could show you "
" Out of my head ! That's not cool " his lips lift up into a smirk
" We will commence real training tomorrow" he says backing away from me all too soon , and I'm tempted to drag him back
" Okay " I nod , his lingering gaze sweeps across my body before his fazes out leaving nothing but darkness in this cold night .
With a sigh I climb back into bed , the silence is deafening , the cold is sickening , I don't think - I act " Kae" I whisper his name into the night like a prayer " Kaerith " but no answer , my heart sinks but I suck in a breath " Kaerith !" I call a little firmer this time .
" Didn't your mother warn you about inviting demons into your homes at this hour of the night ?" My lips pull into a full smile , despite the fact that he was here a minute ago
" She didn't stay to teach me much actually" he hums leaning against the wall , and that does something to me , moonlight highlights his features with this eery dark glow , his lips pull into a smile as he watches me - watch him
" Like what you see ? "
" Never " I whisper
" You -" he takes a step forwarding , I kneel on the bed - watching him " are a horrible liar , has anyone ever told you that ?"
" No , you are the first actually" he hums as he reaches the edge of my bed , my face leveled with his crotch , sweet eve help me .
I hear him laugh softly as he tilts my face up to look at him
" Why am I here Diana ?" I'll be damned if I know , maybe I do though
" I-, umm " his fingers caress the my cheeks and I lean into his touch
" I won't know if you don't ask me Zyrana " I blink my eyes in confusion

" I'll tell you in due time " I sigh lifting myself up a bit on my knees " say it " he urges me knowing what's on my mind but enjoying this torture .
" W-wo-uld you stay with me tonight ?" My voice comes out as a whisper like a plea , he stares at me head cocked to side , studying me , I drop my gaze expecting a rejection from the look on his face .
I feel the movement on my bed and turn to face him with a smile as he leans on the head board " thank you "
" Don't Thank me just yet Zy, my intentions here are neither pure nor good , and my self control is shaking " I nod my head with a smile and lean into him , with a flick of his wrist the duvet is spread over us , and we enjoy the silence ... For a moment -
