Rinne, Rinne, Rinne. This non-canon Spirit from the visual novel Rinne Utopia. What can she do? Even the fandom wiki doesn't know completely. I, your poor author, was forced to sit through hours and hours of visual novel gameplay to bring you these following facts, along with which route I learned this information from:
-Her Angel, Eden, creates a barrier in which the inside of the barrier experiences time differently. While time inside the barrier passes normally, it seems that time outside the barrier is essentially halted (This is inferred by the fact that all visual novels are canon to each other, and some endings in Rinne Utopia timeskip years or possibly decades, such as Tohka Good Ending or Kurumi Good Ending)
-Eden's power seemingly works even on an unsealed Spirit like Kurumi, although it is highly likely that if Kurumi were to use [Yud] on herself, she could recall the events of the loops (Kurumi Route)
-Rinne has defeated or outsmarted the real Kurumi. This happens when Rinne intervenes in a fight between the real Kurumi and a clone, revealing her position to the real Kurumi. The real Kurumi then disappears to devour Rinne, and does not reappear in that route. It can thus be inferred that Rinne either outsmarted, defeated, or killed the real Kurumi
-Rinne can reset Eden back to a certain point in time, which cannot be changed. This is done through Shidou meeting his unfortunate demise. A lot of bad endings actually happen because Rinne kills Shidou herself…
-Rinne can semi-freely draw desired targets into a subspace, which always seems to be a red-black void space
-Rinne's Reiryoku Density (what does that even mean…?) is second only to Mio herself. I can only guess this means that she has the most powerful Reiryoku of all Spirits except Mio (this one is admittedly on the wiki)
-Rinne can create an unknown, possibly infinite number of Guardians, mindless servants that have relatively high combat ability (Rinne's Route shows her creating enough Guardians for Tohka to claim that there are "too many enemies" for her to handle. Interestingly, Yoshino was able to solo a horde of Guardians at the same time elsewhere…)
-Rinne can mess with the consciousness of anyone with and without Reiryoku within the barrier (Multiple routes indicate this)
-Rinne can seemingly mind-control normal people (In Rinne's Route, someone notes that every person in the city streets has disappeared, presumably hiding in their homes away from danger?)
-Rinne can create a large, possibly infinite, number of energy ball blasts (Tohka Death End) that seem to have multiple effects. Notable inclusions are the ability to freeze Spirits in place (Yoshino Death End) and the ability to disrupt the usage of both Protective Territory (Origami Death End) and Reiryoku (Kotori Death End), though these may all be derived from a component of her next ability
-Rinne has a technique called [Paradise Lost] in which she:
A: Draws selected targets into a red-black void
B: Performs naked self-bondage using roots from the main body of her Angel. These roots both bind Rinne and also prevent anyone from approaching her by directly sapping strength from anyone they hit (Rinne's Route), which may be a shared property between her roots and her energy balls
C: When using her tree roots, Rinne can send the consciousness of the people she hits into some sort of secondary dream realm within the main Eden (Rinne's Route)
And that's everything I managed to research after spending my entire last week on this visual novel. Why are half of these abilities not listed on the wiki? I don't know. I feel like I'm about to lose my mind.
I hope you appreciate the amount of time I invested into getting Rinne's canon abilities right… and I hope that you understand that Rinne makes quite the capable opponent, especially if you're caught off guard.
Anyway, that's all from me for now. New chapter next week.
Your humble author,
