The driver pulled over at a park situated a good mile from the center of the city, one frequented by not so many people. Thane alighted the vehicle, Brooke's hand in his and led her for an evening stroll.
For the first half of their stroll they moved in silence, matching each other's pace, the other people at the park stole glances at them, in awe of such a visually appealing couple.
It wasn't until they reached a fountain that Thane halted in his steps and reached into his pocket for his wallet.
Brooke made a face when she watched Thane pull out two hundred dollar bills, "What are you doing?" she asked raising a brow.
Naturally he replied, "Making a wish, isn't it appropriate to throw money into a fountain and make a wish?" he passed a bill to Brooke, "Let's both make a wish."
